GOSH.... This might help.... If the cable is still good by the hood... set it up a way you can pop it up from the outside of the front bumper:goodjob: Sorry I suck at explaining things:no:

if the latch is broken... try pull-a-part. if the cable is broken, tie a coat hanger on it right next to the latch and leave it out by the grille so you can pull on it from there. if the plastic clip is broken up on the dash, vice grip the cable and leave it down by your feet and pull it when you need it.... wouldnt recommend trying to replace the cable.... it is a royal pita!!!!

ha, i got the same problem with my trunk cable. except i can open it with a key. haha. good luck fixing that

man its not hard at all, just follow the wire from the latch to the hood, (it should be runnimn through the driver fender) i did mine in 10 min
