**NEW SONIC MEET IN LAWRENCEVILLE**

Since the sonic meet is "canceled" or whatever. I decided to start a new one. only a few minutes away from sonic. Thursday at 8 PM, at the old publix parking off lot off of grayson hwy/gwinnett drive in lawrenceville. If you're coming from gwinnett drive, just go straight down and you'll be in the parking lot. If you're coming from downtown lawrenceville, it'll be on the left side, intersection of gwinnett drive/grayson hwy. I don't know who to ask for permission, but me and a few buddies hung out there and taught a friend to drive and cops rolled by and didn't say anything to us, they didn't mind. So I'm guessing it's cool, plus noone ever goes down there.

like sleeperwrx said, go to downtown larenceville. but when you get there, you have to turn right on s. perry street (i believe) which will eventually turn into grayson hwy (20). its at the 2nd light once you are in downtown lawrenceville. a restaurant called mcray's will be on your left and a diner will be on your right at that light.

Sonic meet from what j heard was shutdown due to property owner telling cops he didn't want use their anymore.....? And no offence I hope theirs a good turn out.. But when I go to a meet I see the exits and entrances seeing pic 2 and easy to block n not close to street..... At anytime cop can block u n and give everyone their a ticket... Problem with meets but i hope things work out.........

But yeah the only people who really messed around were the rednecks. We'd have our occasional burnouts and engine revs and such but I remember the last Sonic meet I went to there were rednecks just COMPLETELY tearing up the parking lot that night cause it was a semi small turnout.

RallyMazda01, I'll be there next week in my 1994 Chevy S-10 4x4. We can talk about where the heck there is to offroad in Gwinnett anymore. They closed all of my favorite spots.

Everybody, how was the meet yesterday? I went to the V in the rain and saw some stupid stuff. Hopefully people at Lawrenceville meets don't get us all hated and run off by the cops :rolleyes:

and please dont screw up the spot. ive been talking to management at the publix ( im a grocery manager) and they said its fine after 10 when they close to chill there.

lol, there were 5 cars, everyone knew each other.....while one guy was pulling out publix, his suv drifted, so he came back and did it alittle more
