hey guys..well i just got some tein basics used with low milage. Im having trouble adjusting the top seat spring for the ride height adjustment, i got the bottom one loose and adjusted..i cant seem to get the top one to budge.
The top seat spring is adjusted all the way to the top, the spring seems to be abit compressed, maybe causing difficulty for me to adjust the top seat spring?due to all the force? anyone have any suggestions? i used pb blaster ..didnt really budge.Should i just remove the top base mount? get the spring out? and then try to adjust it? i dont want the spring to kill me tho..i got a spring compressor but doesnt seem to work well at all on the teins.
if anyone has any good suggestions id really apreciate it. repps to anyone that gives some good tips..thanks

well for the top one if its all the way at the top already, are you trying to adjust it back down or up ? if up your gonna adjust it back up your just gonan have to do with a spring compressor. and if down then you prob just have to work it until it wiggles down take off the top and then see if you can adjust it if not then your coils might be messed up. Easiest way to find out is just put the spring compressor on the springs, and take off the top so the springs wont come out at you. I have Tein SS's on my Teg and i dont have any problems, so could just be the adjuster or something. Just letting ya konw what i know hope it helps you out.

i did this with my ebay, but if my teins ever got stuck they cost to much to do that... maybe gently...

Like others said, flat head screw driver to loosen it up then use an oil filter wrench to get a hold of it. The oil filter wrench gives better leverage than the key. Make sure to clean the threads really good. All the dirt and grime get stuck in the threads and make it super hard to turn.
