People who do that are to lazy to do it the right way, I dont suggest it.

ive done it that way before when i didnt want to replace the wheel bearing because it usually dont come out clean or if you dont have a press to press the hub out and back in

It just looks like you are trying to fuck something up to me. I would suggest doing it the right way.

Just remove the hubs and do it the right way, takes a little over an hour to do the whole car if you have the right tools...

Yea ive done 1 or 2 a while back but IIRC it was a bit of a bitch to get back in the hole. I know theres a spot on the hub that you have to turn where the stud will go in but just didnt know if anyone else has actually tried this.
Cause I agree it does look a little sketch thats why I asked

OEM. They are for the front also not the back drums.

I've done it that way many times. Some makes already have the shoulder modified that way brand new. On a Honda, the torque spec is only 80 ft lbs so its not likely to pull through the hub anyways.

Okay so how the hell do I get the lug OUT? I dont remember the clearance being this bad on my EJ.

Component parts are designed to be installed, removed, and used in a certain way. When you do this as a shortcut, you are essentially compromising that component. :goodjob:
Hey, it's only holding your wheels onto the car, it's not THAT important, grind a little more off and use some hot glue to hold it on.:rolleyes:

You can get a press at harbor Freight for less than 100 dollars that will work to push out the bearings
It was the best 65.00 I think I have even spent at harbor freight
