I have a 97 civic ex has a swapped jdm gsr in it. When "i get on it" a shit load of smoke starts to come in the interior of the car. Not sure where its coming from. Is this just an exhaust leak? I know a I have one right now cause the previous owner had a Custom exhaust put on it. I am going to buy a new exhaust system and a test pipe.

If it is a shit load of smoke you might want to put the car on a riser and check everything out. You most likely have a bad amount of carbon dioxide in your vehicle even when you can't see or smell it. If you start getting headaches and other pains constantly then you gotta a really bad leak. Good luck!

Get that car on a lift asap, carbon monoxide is no joke.

There should be no reason an exhaust leak should be leaking like that. You probably have a hole that you dont know about in the body and its seeping through. Get the fucker on a lift and check it out. I say stop driving it for now if you have another car. If you already get headaches, you should stop as soon as possible. Just replacing the exhaust wouldnt fix it. There is another problem somewhere on the body of the car. Is it burning oil? Any funny noises?

yeah def dnt make yourself sick, i had a gas leak one time and it made me sick as fukkk throwing up for days, and bad headaches...

will it fill with smoke at idle or just your foot on the gas in neutral? even if you did have an exhaust leak it shouldnt smoke that much unless you have bad rings and a leaky exhaust..etc etc etc

true....i'd say to check your not missing any bolts holding your header n testpipe/cat together. 1 might be missing. also like was stated above check the condition of doughnut gasket. if your running a 2-piece header, check that gasket.
