ok, so all my online buddies know me as jdmwannabee, and before i get all the questions here is my story.
(GET READY FOR A GOOD READ)

everything i did was rice... my email address and my name on all of the forums i was on was silver_bullet_1996
i was such a punk ass....
but then one day my life was changed forever.
i meet some new people on the coast one night that had amazing cars! and nobody had body kits, or tvs, or big usless guages or euro tail lights! the cars were all so clean! i just had to know what this was all about! then those oh so magical words graced my ears for the first time...

my life was changed forever!
i changed everything about me. i no longer drove through parking lots revving my 1.6L 105 whp motor. i ripped every piece of rice off of my civic and instead of buying things that made me look fast started spending my money on new suspension parts, and real jdm parts from japan, and things that would actually make my car faster!....
but then came my jdm downfall... i got a new job working for ibew electrical union.. the people that i worked with blead red white and blue... and any car from japan was an insult to america! they started messing with my car when i wasn't around. first they opened my doors in the parking lot while the grass was being mowed, filling my beloved honda (http://www.yourcobalt.com/forums/#) with dead grass and dirt. then they started letting the air out of my tires, then they got under my hood and un plugged all the wires! and finally they keeyed my baby! i was so hurt, and so upset. the next day as i walked to my car after work i saw a little yellow note on my window. it read "park this piece of sh#t on this property again and your windows will be busted out and your car filled with concreete".
i couldn't have this. i loved my civic to much. but i had to have a way to get to work every day, what could i do!?
then came a sign... like a light from heaven! it was amazing! just the answer i was looking for...... an add in the sunday paper for a wonderfull looking car. i knew from that moment on what i had to do.
so the following day i went on my quest to find this perfect vehicle. i searched all day, driving for miles and miles, untill about 7 that night i finally saw it!!! the most awesome amazing beautifull bright yellow cobalt ss/sc. it was everything i ever wanted...
well as you know, i don't have a yellow cobalt. i never did.. as i walked up to the car a little kid walked up beside me.. he held the key to my baby... his daddy had just paid cash for it and gave it to him as a birthday gift... i wanted to cry.
as i slowly walked back to my car a salesman asked me if there was anything he could do to help me. i shrugged saddly and said "no sir, not unless you can sell me that yellow cobalt". he replied im sorry sir but we just sold that car. i continued walking to my car thinking about how pissed i was about what just happened.
then i heard something, the cobalt.. the motor sounded so sweet, so awesome. i just had to look back to get one last glance at my "non" car.
as i turned slowly looking for the yellow cobalt i saw the little kid still standing by the car, it wasn't him! i turned my head quickly to the back of the dealership and saw blue! it drove right up beside me and a young woman got out.
she said that they just got the car on trade in!
and it was mine!!!!!
i ran into the dealership and threw my credit card onto the managers desk...
i drove away happily that night in my 06 cobalt ss.
but not to forget about my love for jdm... i still drove my honda daily, even if i didn'n have to. i only used the cobalt for work.
soon after this i lost my job and my poor honda started showing its age... she had over 200k miles and had been ripped to bits and screwed back together. i had to have a reliable car, and i needed money, bad.
the honda had to go.
i cried the day she left me.
now i still love jdm even though i don't have a jdm car. i still live my life by it. i want to be jdm with all my heart! i just can't be..
so i comprimise. i keep my cobalt as cleen as possible, no ricing it out and just throwing lame parts on it to make it look like something its not. it is as jdm as it can possibly be... which is not at all...
so there it is, my story. my true feelings finally show.

my real name is rusty, my car is a 2006 chevy cobalt SS/SC,
it is gm stage two (no thats not ricer talk its just what gm calls it) which means smaller sc pully, bigger injectors and a different tune. it also has the G85 package which comes with recaro seats and lsd. the only after market mods done to the car are k&n typhoon intalke, Magnaflow exhaust, not sure of the name brand heat exchanger, lowering springs, and my rims.
so i hope to meet alot of cool people on here and make some new friends!

got a note saying to park somewere else or the car will have windows smashed and filled with concrete.
went to get a cobalt, he liked the yellow one... someone bought it right before him
he was leaving... and turned around and saw a blue one.. heard it was a trade in.
threw card on managers desk, got the blue cobalt.
daily drove civic till it died.
