For those that have seen my blazer in person....it is horrible...and thats being generous! Well I figured good thing for business would to be wet sand and buff half the hood and ride with it! :lmao:

Again though I wish I had a better camera...because any these shots dont show just HOW BAD the hood really is with the befores!

You using a rotary with those?

Oh i have to ask, with Ultrafina, do you often find it will bind up your buffer? I have an extension cord with a fuse in it and it pops when ever I use ultrafina but nothing else.

I do auto detailing for a living. To me it sounds like you might want to step away from a buffer...let alone a rotary if your binding with Ultrafina. Thats a water based polish. Unless your using way to little, and running your buffer at 3000rpms, you should not have any problems.

Ive been detailing for a while too, so its not inexperience with the rotary. None of my meguiars stuff ever binds, but im thinking i might just need a new ultrafina pad. I just wish the US 3m Ultrafina pad wasnt 8 inches (no :gay:).

Thats what I use...I have probably 50-60 pads...ranging from yellow all the way to red, sizes going from 4", 6", 7" and 8 1/2" pads. Also what pad are you using with the ultrafina?

My ultrafina pad is the baby blue 3m 8in pad.

Its my only 3m pad, the rest of them are all meguiars 8006, 9006, the yellow diamond cut, black diamond cut, red wool, and yellow wool. All of those are multiples.

Ultrafina pad with ultrafina polish. Thats all that touches that pad as far as polish, it will get a spritz of water or m34 final inspection to just prime it.

speed? Only way you can be binding is it your running at high speeds and have to much pressure on the buffer head, your pad is caked to hell and back, or your pad is not perfectly centered on the head.
