So i was coming home yesterday from Barnsville and i got off at Eagles landing and stopped at a red light. When the light turned green i put it in first and started to move when my car studders and dies. At first i think i just didnt give it enough gas, but it won't start now. it will attempt to start but wont. So i got it towed and am having my neighbor who is a honda mechanic look at it today. It has 130xxx on the motor and 180xx on the tranny, header, and CAI. it started perfectly all day so it couldnt be hydrolocked right?
LMK what you guys think
Reps for any advice.

yeah, first few basic things to check; spark, fuel, air, and timing.

I will have to check. Didnt get to since it was so late. Could it be Hydrolocked if i have been driving/starting it for more than a day in dry weather?

Pull the plugs to see if there's water if you think it htdrolocked but my guess is that your dizzy coil went out... Is the motor turning over

My GF lives down a gravel road and there was a puddle yesterday that i avoided as much as i could and ive heard some stories where it doesnt die immediately so i wasnt sure if i could rule that out of possible problems.

Could a bad ignition coil be the problem?

make sure your timing belt didnt slip a tooth or even break.

my gsr did the same thing but not at a red light. i was pulling my wires while the car was on 1 by 1 to see if there was spark, as i got to #3 my car turned off. i checked for spark again after it would turn on and nothing. it ended up being the dizzy.
did you have your CEL light on? mine was on saying i had multiple missfire.

No i have no lights on. I talked to the mechanic and he said he is thinking its the ignition coil as well.

It could be so many things man. My mom was driving my teg and it just shut off on here also. End up being the timing belt. But i would check for spark, fuel if you getting both you should be fine.
Dont keep turning the car over until you check the timing tough, It could ahve jumped timing and you will mess up the motor. Just my tought!
