^Yeah, take offs are dirt cheap. a guy on GSB was selling front and rears for 50 for both. Not bad for a beater tire for awhile.

yeah i always use GSB. find great ones one there. O and mason i have a diablo corsa as a front tire and it stays planted very well, it doesn't go anywhere unless i tell it too.

Be careful with take-offs. They suck in the rain and are not designed for repeated heat cycles.
They also usually have very little sidewall tread left (making them a poor choice for mountain riding)

That's why you inspect the tire before buying it. Mine have always handled good in the rain and under heavy loads in the mountains. The only way to get tires hot like you would on the track, is to go run them on the track. I highly doubt he is going to the track right now anyways. People always amaze me when it comes to this. I ride mine everyday no matter what the weather and never have any issues.

Ive had the corsa diablos and they stay planted. I dunno what your talking about mason. Ive gotten them to slide once when i went balls out through a turn, dropped the throttle a little bit and they hooked right back up. Any tire will slide if your giving it enough power to. Sounds like you need to cut back the throttle a good bit. As far as take offs go ive never had a problem with them. Ridden them in the rain and under heavy loads as well. Never had a problem with them up in the mountains either. I road take offs last winter up in big bear and they were amazing honestly. Only reason i asked on here is i just moved back to ATL from LA and i dont know where shit is anymore haha. Im still rolling on my shitty power pilot though unexpected expenses came up. I figure i can still get another 500-1000 out of them taking it easy on her hahaha so in reality ill need one in about 200 miles.

If you don't mind getting shipped check out motoxoutlet.com. They generally have brand new tires for very good prices. Hope this helps.
