according to the website where i was going to order the harness to fit an obd2B ecu into my obd0 car, they are saying that i will also need to get an obd1 dizzy, and a 4wire o2 sensor.

What i was wondering is, will my car still run correctly if i were to keep my obd0 dizzy, and run the stock (obd0) oxygen sensor to the obd2b ecu?

...lol i dont care if its a stupid question, just please answer it.

why would you go from obd-0 to obd2b  , makes no sense at all. If your going to convert, then go to obd1.... :goodjob:

lol... now another question. Will an OBD1 dizzy work seamlessly with the aforementioned OBD2 ecu if it has been converted to plug into obd0 as well?

YES, obd1 dizzy has 2 plugs, where as the obd2 dizzy only has 1, but you can run either one as long as its wired for it...

okay good, lol, that was kinda the 'make it or break it' concern with me too, because if the obd1 dizzy wouldnt run on the obd2 ecu, then i would absolutely have to get rid of the ecu. Thanks man, Reppd.

No its not really anything like that, its just that i dont really want to end up twice as deep in the hole (cash wise), for buying two ecu's when i could've just bought one...:( ... basically it comes down to i need to either sell the OBD2 ecu to try to make some money back on it before i buy another ecu, or just use it in my car. Plus, the difference between OBD1 and OBD2 converting, as far as dizzy and jumper harnesses go isnt very much... I made a list of parts i would have to buy if i were to go obd1 vs. going obd2, and its almost like the only difference is which conversion harness i buy.

still think your better off with the right ecu less time headaches and labor.
