Well today I accidently over filled my oil. I thought it was at a leveled position so I check the oil and it seemed low. I added 1 1/2 quarts, and it was a little over the second dot on the dipstick. I drove around and it started blowing white smoke out not even in boost. I wonder if this has anything to do with the extra oil that I added..

I guess its time for a compression test... Or may be the turbo seals going bad.

white smoke is usually coolant, but when an excessive amount of oil gets in the exhaust it can come out white too.

Like the second poster said drain it out and start over with the correct amount of oil. If it still does it troubleshoot from there

if its just a hair over the second dot, its probably not the cause of your smoking. i always ran an extra half-quart on my boosted d16.

if its a tad over the second hole, your fine.. Your smoking could be oil going into your downpipe/exhaust through your turbo..

sounds like you got other problems if you are putting that much oil in your motor. Im with green91 on this

my car smokes quite a bit too when not in boost and from what i gathered its cause i have no oil restrictor on my turbo and its gettin too much oil psi and blowing past the seal on the exhaust housing...........as far as the oil level goes just drain some out and add till its good or better yet just do an oil change and put the right amount. the correct amount for a b16 i believe is 4.2 quarts..someone correct me if im wrong!
