I misread the poll though, i was not driving, i was merely a passenger.

The Event occured somewhere between Newport News and Richmond in 2004 while my friend (who shall remain nameless, but is now a photographer for a popular import magazine) and I were on our way to the annual NoVa Hondatech meet. A race between a Dodge Viper and his 500+whp DA Integra that was outfitted for high speed time trials on oval tracks may have occurred during which i may have wet my pants a little bit.

Don't really care to go that fast on a public highway ever again, i thought we were going to die.

I got to about 8000 rpms in 6th gear in my old rsx (16psi) before shutting down due to feeling of instability. This was on i-16 about 5 years ago now.

I'm not sure of the exact speed since i was past the 160mark on my speedo. But if I use my 8k rpms estimate, and a calculator, it comes out to about 180 with the wheels I had then. I voted lower however since I'm not positive and my memory could be off.

Explanation: I moved to Germany, so I had to test her out on the autobahn. I plan on getting a Hellcat Charger while I am here and hitting 200 MPH. Not too many people can say they've been 200 in a car (or even a sedan)- I want to be one. Here is a video of me getting over 160, around 170. I was doing come pulls from about 100 with a C63 AMG- unknown mods except Nuerburgring sticker. We were pretty much even the whole way. He may have been inching ahead, but both cars were nearly identical each run. What this video doees not show is the massiv turn, which made me slow down. He was going 170 AND TOOK THE TURN AT FULL SPEED. He slowed down later and gave me a big thumbs up. VERY cool dude. Needless to say, I friggin love Germany.

^^^ Pretty much the same in my Magnum SRT8 @ 175mph coming from Charlotte @ 5am on an empty highway and I've been 150mph in my Nismo 370z.

I tried to top out my '08 ZX6R one night coming home from S.C. on I20 I ended up only getting to 178 there was a long sloping hill going down and the bike floated for about 2 second. I had the thought of a rock or debris in the road throwing and killing me so I stopped. In a car it's only been 150~155 my 91 mr2 turbo, 88 supra and my IS300 all seemed to be geared for that speed. I haven't seen what the top end is with my new transmission.
