Yeah I would agree on that, and by the way for people using GPS, those things are always off a little bit. You could have went faster or slower who knows, depends on the GPS. 180 in the Chevelle for me was done with a laser gun, though I was the passenger in my Grandfathers car

pegged out the speedo at 160 in my 04 cobra, with every bolt on imaginable and a 2.93 upper and 6lb lower pulley. Was tuned and also had a 75 shot. Stock Speedo limiter is removed from the tune so who knows, probably going a little past 160. Everything on the car was done at Modular Powerhouse in Marietta

Going that fast in the car was running from the police. My friend was driving my car and I was driving his and we raced one another. We used to do that all the time when no one else wanted to run. Even though the only my old car could keep up with his is if who ever drove his gave the driver of my car about 3 lengths when we launched. So I ended having to distract the cops when I was driving his car one night while were racing and almost got busted.

Went that fast on my bike because my friend that's in 3 digit boys wanted to see if I could hang lol. Well with him and his 01 900rr that has about 5k in it. That was a fun trip from my exit where 985 turns into 365 up to Lula. Also, I'm guessing that it wasn't more than that because after glancing down while going that fast on a bike, it's best to pay attention to what's going on that looking a gauge cluster.

I have hit the rev limiter on my old 07 gsxr 1000 in 6th gear. The spedo stopes at 186 half way through 5th gear but the bike keeps pullng. I know at that spead the speado if way off but if I had to guess I would say I was somewhere n the 185 ish range. If. Can find the video I'll post a link.

Once you roll in the throttle you can't notice the total speed. All you focus on is trying to keep the front wheel down. But I hit 163 the other day on 411 to Rome Ga. I just noticed that I was in 4th and went into 5th still pulling hard. I then looked down at the speedo.. and I was stunned. I quickly let off of the throttle and swore I wouldn't ever go that far in 4th ever again. LOL I really don't like going that fast.. it scares me too much. But I just got a little carried away. :)

I guess I should explain my vote... I drive a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe COMPLETELY stock, but for my 21st Birthday I was surprised by my Grandparents with the opportunity to drive their good friend's Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, in a controlled environment of course. They live in an Airpark Community that was developed by my Grandfather to allow Pilots to have airplane hangars in their backyards and use the community runway to fly at their will. After an hour or so of learning how to drive a supercar such as the LP640 I was guided onto the runway by the car's owner and told to go as fast as I could get the car to go... I got 5 up and downs and on the second run I reached 160mph... without the pedal to the floor. It was an incredible experience, certainly one I'll never forget, but coming from someone that rarely goes 10mph over the speed limit it was scary as hell. To actually sit in the driver's seat of a car that has that much power and is worth almost $400K is a far cry from watching one go all out on YouTube. I'll never forget that day... but yeah, that's my story. Without that experience my answer would be 80mph.
