Story behind this goes like this, my old turbo was smoking like a freight train dynoed it the day before this happen at batlground for shits and giggles and made 360whp and 280trq on pump gas and 20lbs. The following day my new turbo came in. I slapped it on and was driving it from the shop to the house didnt think it would change the boost setting too much so i didnt turn the controller down..a few bikes came up messing with me ( 1 cbr 600 and 2 r6's) so i handed them there ass and around 130mph at the end of 4th it detonated and i ended up with this. Drove the car onto the house thinking it would be the head gasket but nope. Oh well it doesnt matter bought another set of the same pistons for 90 shipped and reused the rods in my z6 block with my built z6 head and im putting it all in my hatch instead of my heavy ass 2600lbs coupe. Then its back to the dyno for 26lbs and c16! cant wait! cost me around 180 to completely replace this motor
Gotta love d series!

wow. at least it didnt cost that much to replace everything, but as you know now changing turbo = much needed tune time before playing. g/l with everything

No offense -- that is a good kill story w/ the bikes. But those were not bike "riders" -- those were bike "owners". Your HP/TQ numbers aren't "real" bike killer numbers. :) Some1 who knows how to properly ride even a 600 will make u look silly w/ 300whp. But it's always fun to bury 1 (or 3) - lol.

MY car went a best of 11.8 with a shitty 1.8 60ft with 300 whp i watched mutiple 600's at the track yesterday run high 11's and low 12's. A stock or near stock 600 isnt fast!

I'm too lazy to write down the whole discussion about this, but you put your vitaras the wrong way. Not that it wont work like this, but the motor will be more laud.

Gotta love d series!

Which part, the one where they blow up at 130, or the part where you pay 90 bucks for a piston?

Hey S double C Sorry to say this BUT THAT SHINY NEW TURBO IS FOOOBARD. Send it out and have it rebuilt you might not have any turbine left. Take a look, Everything left the engine through the turbo. That really sucks
