I cant run from a dig or I will break the sentra again. Last time I tried, the wheel hop was so bad, people thought I had hydrolics. Next weekend sounds better, I have a 4-1 race header on its way, so hopefully by the end of next week I'll have it on and dyno tuned.

Its a Pulsar GTIR. I always wanted one, but I am having the blast of my life hurting peoples feelings in the sentra. I would have more fun in the sentra since it is a underdog, but I would not mind having a pulsar. Its a flip of a coin right now. But I think there is a 60-70% chance I will hold on to the sentra.

Yeah but its also turbo. All my cars in the past were turbo, so I know it would be a life of $$$ and breaking down weekly to compete with 10-11 sec turbo 4cyl. It cost alot less to have a na hold its own all while not breaking down as much. Competitive dd na or competitive methenol injected on race gas turbo 4. Basically what I saying is, the GF wanted a ring for the past 5yrs, and if I go back to turbo, Im gonna be sleeping on the couch. Na, I pull a "Im getting this thing for the sentra for 1k" every other month, so she will get angry and start talking about "getting married and moving on" but will be back to normal the next day. Turbo, I would be splurging 2k a month, while sleeping in the crawlings space all while the gf being engaged with another man getting ass raped upstairs. Long story short, I think sticking with the sentra would be better for my wallet and future, but I have always wanted one so there is no telling.

Something tells me we are going to keep battling, and we will for ever be neck to neck. When one of us wins, the other will call them out the next month and win lol. I think its great though. TheSnail, what all is done to your car if you dont mind me asking? I just recently started reading up on the b13 sentra's. They seem to make some good numbers.


The SER's normally come with a sr20de which is 140hp. I pulled that sr out, and put in a sr20ve. A sr20ve is basically a sr20de with a much better flowing head then any other sr. It has VVL which is basically vtec. The sr20ve is rated at 187hp, and when I dynoed it stock while still running a stock exhaust, it put down 168whp. Then I did I/H/E, UR pulley, 10lb flywheel, and custom rom to spin to 8500 on 370cc injectors, and N1 Camshafts (which are 290deg duration with 12.5mm lift under vtec. Last time I dynoed was about 5months ago, and that one was 193whp/14Xtq, so now Im guessing right at 200whp/150tq.

By researching hondas, these k swaps and k-series hybrids yall honda people are doing, makes me believe I need to actually shop rather than sit around and window shop to come close to competing. The k20 guys dont seem as a threat as these guys that are doing a ka20a2 head on a k24 block. Those ka20/24block guys seem to be making some ridiculous power. The k20 ones look to normally sit at 200-230, which I could compete with. I thought turbo cost money, but to keep up with some of these k series guys, it seems as if I will have to splurge some cash on the old sentra.

Sr20ve complete front clip including everything even the fuel pump for $1000
N1 cams $650
Chipped ecu $230
UR pully $150
10lb flywheel $250
Custom intake with velocity stack $100
Aeromotive FPR $150
Exedy Stage1 clutch $280

Thats 200whp for $2810 including the motor. But now prices on the cams alone dropped almost $200 from when I bought them. That and assuming counting in clutches as part of cost/hp figures etc. Rather than playing with just simple bolt-ons, there are so many available options after this point, AEM stand alone, itbs, 12.5:1 cr, 2.3L stoker etc. But if you're talking 200whp, I would guess now days, it would cost $2500 including the motor and a fresh clutch.

I'm not talking shit, I'm talking truth. There's a difference. Talking shit would be to blow something way over proportion between to sides that couldn't come into an agreement. It's widely agreeable that the K series is too expensive to play. I never said it's a bad motor. I think it's a damn good motor. But to spend anywhere near the money that it takes to get one running is just unheard of.

If you don't know what I drive, try reading the post a second time. But even then, If I were to run you, you'd just drag me down the road by my balls with no contest so there's no point in running you. My engine only has I/H/E which only cost me a total of $1500 and that's including the engine, 4 transmissions I've bought for it, the light weight flywheel and the chip.

I'm not talking shit, I'm talking truth. There's a difference. Talking shit would be to blow something way over proportion between to sides that couldn't come into an agreement. It's widely agreeable that the K series is too expensive to play. I never said it's a bad motor. I think it's a damn good motor. But to spend anywhere near the money that it takes to get one running is just unheard of.

If you don't know what I drive, try reading the post a second time. But even then, If I were to run you, you'd just drag me down the road by my balls with no contest so there's no point in running you. My engine only has I/H/E which only cost me a total of $1500 and that's including the engine, 4 transmissions I've bought for it, the light weight flywheel and the chip.
