View Full Version : Wheel Knock Noise
I have a 96 integra. I am starting to get a knocking noise from the driver side front wheel area from what i can hear.
it only makes the knocking noise when on the throttle. when i turn to the right it does knock as bad but when i turn to the left a little starts knocking.
axle or wheel bearing? axle apears to be fine.
thanks for the help

Sounds just like the explorer issue, check caliper bolts and wheel lugs first. KISS method:
Keep
It
Simple
Stupid

Sounds like CV joints to me.
why would it only knock when on the throttle?

cv joint is my vote...its really typical on tegs. both of mine did it. couldn't tell you why it does it when you accelerate though.
jack the car up and see if the boot is torn at all. also its alot easier to replace the whole axel if the cv is bad.
