We are getting a group together to go to Steele this saturday. The track opens at Noon, Alabama time. So we'll probably leave Rome around Noon our time. Anyone that wants to go is welcome. We will probably meet up somewhere in West room and role in together. I was thinkin maybe we say meet in Lowe's parkin lot around 11:45 to roll out at Noon.

Who wants to go?

ya if it rains sat we'll go sunday..but there maybe a problem they have be workin on the left lane and it may not be done..im gonna call and check 2morrow..i mean i really wanted 2 lanes 2 be open cause me and dev was gonna run..and i imagine some of yall wanted also for fun!!

really it was open last saturday cause I raced a few people? maybe there actually making it were a car can hook in that lane :lmfao:

i just got off the phone with them and the guy said they are done with the left lane and they are workin on the rite lane right now and weather permitting it could be done by 2morrow, but he said its gotta be dry 2 get all the rubber on it and stuff..so maybe it'll be done 2morrow or maybe sunday..we'll see either way..ill keep yall updated ..but anyways moonlight madness starts in 2 weeks..

aww yes how I do miss the the friday nights... I hope there open tomorrow you should call in the morning and see :goodjob: If not seems sunday it is

so i called the guy at the track this afternoon and he said the right lane should be done and 2 call and check in the morning so thats what im gonna do!! ill let yall know!!

They've changed the hours to 1pm-Dark
I say we meet at Lowes at 12:45(ga time) and roll out around 1, takes about an hour to get over there...thatll be about the time they open. Ill call in the morning and check and see what the weather is doing...supposedly its gonna stop raining between 12 and 3 and be sunny by 6...wont be dark til 8ish...if thats the case we could get a later start (around 3ish) But we're really just gonna have to play it by ear tomorrow to see whats going on.

well its 615 now and its still raining pretty heavy and i been out all nite and its been doin it all nite so not thinkin its gonna happen really..prolly just be next weekend, but ya i planned on callin in the a lil while and checking on it also.
