The Trans Am won't start (for those that don't know, it's a 1996 6 speed LT1 car); the connections to the starter are good and the starter has been tested. I can push start the car and the battery is fully charged. Theres no noises or anything when I try to crank it, no clicking, popping, etc. Also, the security light goes off, it doesn't stay on or anything.
Any ideas? Reps to all suggestions.

Ignition switch Have you tried to put a test light on the starter for the wire for the ignition switch? if it gets power an the main power 12v is getting power it will turn over, might still be a bad starter I dont trust those Autozone guys testing starts/alternators etc...

netural switch?
Its a 6 Speed...But there is a Clutch switch that can cause this thats why I said to see if your getting power threw the ignition switch wire at the starter if it isnt then try taking the clutch pedal switch unplug it and bypass it with a Paper clip...if that works then you know what to buy if not ignition switch is your deal to get fixed.
