What kind of exhaust do you have? I only ask because when I had my G, I had megan racing testpipes and a stillen true dual catback and the rasp was horrible above 3K rpms. It sounded great below 3K, but above was ricetastic. You might want to just fork out the cash and get hiflow cats.

gained 6hp to the wheels but lost 6lbs of tq. If I were to do it over again, I'd go highflow cats. Not to mention the install was a huge pain in my ass. If you can get test pipes for cheap and you dont mind spending some time installing them, by all means, go for it. Thats pretty much why I did it.

As far as the power being noticable, yes. I did notice less power down low, but the engine also seemed to "breath" much better from 4500 up to 7K. Once I went back to factory, it felt very choked off up top.
