so i was driving to the gym today, got my car up in the rpm a bit to get the a/c goin. Then i lose power???? wth.... i hit the gas, nothing.

I take my intake off at the turbo to see if i blew it or somethin cuz it was makin weird sounds. It works fine :thinking: put it back on it fucks up again


Come to find out, my intake filter flipped over in the fenderwell somehow. I have no idea how cuz it barely even fits in the tight area, so when the pipe was drawing in air, it was pulling the filter up and capping off the incoming air.


Works fine now, haha:crazy:

Been working on it LOL. Just really really slowly. I had to make payments on the paint work. But now the wife is back to work after having the baby. I can have to spending money. I hope to have it goin by August. I was shooting for July. But I want to put cams in it. So I can wait alittle longer. But I will be picking up the all my painted parts/fairing this friday. And then I will send some part to by Powder Coated and after that it is down hill.

Its the MYSTERY engine. Found what I understand. :ninja:

I am still on stock axles and i am in a heavier car and was on slicks launching at 7500(clutch drop, no preload). And a buddy of mine was making 530whp on stock axles and launching on 24.5in slicks.

oh not a thing. just chillin at home. was supposed to get my exhaust fixed yesterday but i cut my grandmas fields and after being out in the sun for about 4 hrs i was baked and tired as hell so i called him and he said that he could do it tom. I will start LOL. I been working on a 1968 C10 truck. It has a 350. Been putting a timing chain on it. Wires and plugs. Finally got it running last night. After making 3 run to summit becuz of the wrong parts over the last 2 days. This time we ask for a manager. And we got the parts we need for no extra cost. A summit carry bag (really nice), 2 summit hats, and a $25 gift card. LOL. I need to complain more often LOL. But it running like a champ after adjusting the timing alittle. Now we are searching for a tranny

But from this. I found I love how my Olds engine are designed compared to the chevy engine. Alot easier to work on.

Welll Im having a pretty good day. i took the 5in tach out of the camaro. To see if it would fit in the Cutlass. And it did. I just had to move the shift light around alittle. And my water,oil,volts gages are goin to require alittle modding but I knew that alrdy.

Welll Im having a pretty good day. i took the 5in tach out of the camaro. To see if it would fit in the Cutlass. And it did. I just had to move the shift light around alittle. And my water,oil,volts gages are goin to require alittle modding but I knew that alrdy.

Why is Camaro going to scrap yard?

Well a couple of reason:

First: the only reason I keep the camaro this long is becuz the engine that was in it. Was built by me and my dad. But I traded that engine that was in the camaro for a 455. And now there is no sentimental value in the car at all. I have sold alot of my parts to hypnotoad alrdy. (springs, rear-end, shifter, a/c delete box...etc...)

Second: Now i have a torque monster engine. I need a nice draintrain. Tranny is not a problem (th-400 are everywhere) but I have a couple of th-350 on side of the house i could build. But the rear end is the problem. The only thing I can do is buy one from moser or strange. Which is a couple of grand. And to me the camaro isn't worth it. Since all camaro with torque are 7.5

Third: The Cutlass is a few hundred pounds heavier. But it is full frame. I keep brand loyalty. I see Camaros at every car event. Im lucky to see a B.O.P.C. And I can get a 8.5 rearend from a 442 for about $800 with 3.73 and posi from factory. And I even have options of a cheaper route for more labor intense.But I just need something that can handle slicks and Big Block torque.

OOO yeah, it is going. I didn't get to work on it today. But soon has I get the rest the parts I want off of it. It is gone. I alrdy got arrangements with a scrap yard. This will be the 3rd car gone from the yard in 2 or 3 months.

Yeah my paint work has cost me around $1300 total. Combining last year and this years paint work. And I got about another $200 I got to spend on Powder coating and then I will be done with paint work. Unless I f*** something up. Like I did my tank and tail. Being the reason why it was repainted this year.

I going to install some cams and then I have to rejet my carbs for the new cams. I hope I will gain 5hp with that. Plus Im goin to install a new sprockets set to help with the lost of low end torque from installing the cam.
