find out where your mirror lock up is and blow it out dude, its not hard. get a rocket blower and then everytime it happens you can deal with it. i got dust on my sensor at santa run, went to the car and dealt with it. if i didnt know what to do i woulda been fucked.

Take it to CRJ in Norcross or Peachtree Camera in Marietta. Both are certified Canon and Nikon repair centers. Camera cleanings are $50 at Peachtree and I think $60 at CRJ.

It's really not that hard, and dust on the mirror/bottom of pentaprism? don't worry about that shit, just keep the sensor clean, the other dust doesn't effect images.

DX has a sensor blower for $3, I bought it ans it works WELL.

He does send them off to get cleaned but it looks like if he would be alittle more carefull. his equipment would not get like that. when you are rich, i guess it dont matter.

Well if you buy equiptment like that, it;s designed to put up witha lot of abuse, so maybe he just uses it where it's supposed ot be used, hiking, boating, rain storms, dusty windy places etc?

Just went and picked up my camera from PCR. I wasn't expecting them to clean the outside too! It's in this plastic bag and almost looks like it's been sterilized lol. It's so clean that I ALMOST don't want to use it haha.
