I was interested in upgrading my ram and found some for sale on newegg that would be nice. My computer takes 240pin DDR2 ram, is there anything else that needs to be ''matched'' up? I've installed parts on computers so I can do that myself, just not sure about upgrading specifically. Thanks for any help.

Just make sure you buy 240pin DDR2 memory and you should be fine. :goodjob:

Compaq, early 07 model, came with a dual core amd but only two 265mb ram chips. Found two 2gb sticks for the low on newegg with free shipping.

I was going to mention that you should try to buy memory in pairs, but it looks like you already got that covered. Good job man. :goodjob:

sounds like a good deal man, as long as you stick to 240 pin you should be set.

Thanks. I took the Cisqo course but never took the test. I'm visually oriented, not literary when it comes to working on things most of the time.

SR2020? Something like that. I can't complain, it was a free replacement for my old Dell that fried. My friend went into the Navy and gave it to me.
