310cc's with SOHC Boost

Just a quick question. My homeboy needs to know if my 310cc precision injectors will be sufficient for a d15b with a sub 200hp setup on it? Will a walbro even be necessary?

Im gonna go with No. My duty cycle is fairly high even with 450s so i would imagine 310 would be extremely insufficient. Always swap out the fuel pump too, you will end up doing it sooner or later. Why risk your engine to leaning out at high rpm?

you might want to go 440s or dsm 450s. yes to the walbro.

walbro and 310cc probably will work, but you'll be pretty high on duty cycle and risk failure especially if you loose some pressure. stock inj (240cc) are usually good to 180whp maxed out w/ stock pressure. 310cc around 200-210whp. you could probably do it, but i wouldn't risk it.

to your questions: yes, and no.

I ran quite some time with the stock 240s at 162whp/158wtq, and then I ran again quite some time with the stock fuel pump and 440s at 232whp/206wtq - I just had to change the fuel filter cause it was like 13 years old.

so he's perfectly fine.

yeah ive heard stories like that and ive also heard stories that stat off like" so i was going to work and as soon as i hit 285 my fuel pump went out" so u can do it but if u have the money it would be a wise investment in case your stock one does go out, but yeah make sure u change ur fuel filter for sure. i'd recommend 440's as well thats what im running w/ less that 200 whp on my d-series just in case i ever get the urge to up the boost some
