Hey there,

Sold my tib now i'm in a debate between these two. Just need a fun daily driver. Which one do you guys think is better and funner to drive on an everyday basis? The hatch would be a ek and the sr would be some kind of hatch (regardless of year).

I don't mean to stir up any trouble but it's boiled down to the two of these for me.

Thanks,
Vang

Depends on if you plan on drifting every once in awhile or you want to own most swap'd B-series/H-series Honda's. Me personally I'd go with the K swap'd Ek.

If these cars are priced the same, the Sr better be built or something cause a K20 swap'd Ek isn't going to be cheap unless the guy selling it is a crack head...haha

I say the 240. Faster for cheaper, it's RWD so you can have fun going sideways. Do I have to say more?

RWD>FWD. RWD is not only good for drifting....

*nods head*. I'm not a sideways guy. I'm just a guy that likes a little spunk in his daily driving to gwinnett tech. The only thing i'm concerned about for these 2 rides is getting my car stolen.

Go with K20 hatch, can beat a stock SR 240, a lot more fun, and not as common. You can easily make a hatch handle far better then a 240 anyway

Well the honda will definitely be more likely to get stolen.

it all varies on what you want to have fun on. if you want to drift. go 240. if you want drag or track go k20 cuz the ek will be fun on the track. 240 will be fun with all teh suspesion parts. its all about what you want to have fun on.

I used to own a k20a2, i do know much about k-series as i should, but i know they can hold up to 30 psi with stock internals before blowing up to peaces. But i didnt know he was building the car the way he was untill i went through the whole thread.

240sx with a boosted KA24de would be fun. Stock a healthy KA can handle 350rwhp. Fuck the SR bullshit, why would you wanna go down in displacement?

The EK with the k20 would be awesome but it would cost alot more.
