I used to when I first got her up until she was about 4 months old almost every day... But I moved to McDonough, she has a fenced in back yard she plays in. I want to start taking her back to the park, but I don't know where one is around here. She loves people... Huskies are definately a peoples dog...

Maybe to some of the people who randomly buy them just to say they have a pitbull.My family loves the breed because of their loyalty,We have had an APT in our family since before I were born.They are very smart and loving dogs and would not want any other kind..:D

My dad was an animal lover and picked up every stray anything on the side of the road. I did my research for years before I bought a pit. You can probably search IA and see some of my posts about it from years ago. Some of my friends had them and I always loved them.

The funny thing is that we take her to the dog park all the time, and it never fails...she will always get her head humped at least one time by a dog while at the park if not two...and she loves it. Go figure. Maybe we can have a doggy date and Tyson can hump her head someday. I'm down if you are.

TWIGGY FTMFW! Twiggy is my dogs (Lexie) best friend, lol. They play for HOURS! Lexie mauls her, and it's funny b/c my dog is a frisby dog, lol, but it's all just playing. the brownie, dolce' is one of the sweetest dogs ever, she appears to have game in her, but we found her walking down the side of the interstate as a puppy, took us prob 30 mins to finally capture her, she was so scared.

I had to fight my g/f for days to talk her into letting me get her ears clipped, she is sucker for floppy ears, but now's she he's happy I talked her into it, cause she looks beautiful.

And how the hell do you leave Miami to live here? Not saying I don't love ATL but if I grew up in Miami-I couldn't leave. My parents moved me my junior year of high school to Ocala, Fl. I was Varsity Cheerleader, president of my class and had a BF of 4 years when I lived in Miami. Needless to say it was very hard on me. Once they moved me, I always said I would go back when I graduated. Then when I did, I went back and most of my peeps were dead or in jail (gang stuff). It just wasn't the same anymore. I was pretty much heart broken that things had changed so much in such a short time. So, I moved here in 1995, slept in my car for 2 weeks, then met Dan and moved in with him as a roomie and the rest is history :)

the chain didnt please me either, no worries he is no longer on it. that was the only way we could let him run around on his running wire cause he broke everything else. but now he knows not to go in the road and run off. he runs all over our 4 acre yard now and we never really have to worry about it. but he goes in a fairly large pin into his dog house with a damn heater at night lol. master locked shut. i dont want anyone stealing my dog. id kill someone if i caught who stole my old husky. dont want the same fate for my pitbull

Not being a dick but the first dog is NOT a real Pit or AMSTAFF. What is does look like is a bulldog mixed with a pit so that you can try to make a thicker dog. I love these breeds and have had them all my life. I think it's so funny to hear all these people brag about their pits that are not even in true guidelines of color, height, weight, build etc... If you just love your dog no matter it's true heritage that's great and I appreciate your love of dogs. But all this blue nose this, red nose that , gotti line, razors edge line, gator line bullshit is just that.... bullshit! Color don't mean shit as far as the gameness of the dog or it's abillities/inteligence and most of the dogs that claim to be from this or that particular line can't back that shit up with documentation(other than who the mother and father is) and their dogs will not be in breed specs. A good breeder will have a pedigree that you can purchase for additional money to prove it's heritage and show it's family breeding line for years back and should have shown there dogs in dog shows to prove it's in specs and controlable. Most people are just backyard breeders who have no idea what they are doing. On top of that the general public could not even tell a ABPT from an Amstaff and yes there is a size difference. The APBT should be smaller, more game.

0o0o0o0o0 Maybe you can answer my question here ONE OF MY THREADS HERE (http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208696&highlight=blood+lines ) or at least stir up a good debate. I don't know shit about shit, but I did some research before I bought my dog. I decided that no one breeds real AMSTAFFs that I can afford :) So, I got my baby from a guy in Cabbagetown and paid $150 bucks for her. She is the best dog evar! Flawed to hell (tail too long, underbite, long ass jowls, etc...................) but the closest to the real thing I could find. Ha! We wanted an agile dog (so she could jump up in the truck by herself for the most part). Real AMSTAFFs are just that from my research. The bullies are a lot shorter and a little less agile...but I think they still have their place and are cool dogs.

Anyhow. I'm not saying who's dog is what because I ain't an expert, but I like to entertain good debate and also maybe gain some knowledge while doing so. I SHALL just take the rest of this time to whore out my dog on-line. She is the best photography class model I could ever ask for!!!!

From what I have experienced female to female pits are WAYYYY more aggressive than male to male or female to male.

Sadie doesnt like female pits except for her best friend bailey! =)

I dunno. His dog got along with Killers but not mine. My pit doesnt get aggressive. But it is like that with all other dogs, they immediately want to attack Bella. Maybe she has some persona about her or something. :thinking:

Jeez, there are some seriously adorable pits in here. An old friend of mine has one that I fell in love with. Before I met him, I was afraid of pits as I was attacked by one. I have some scars on my legs from the attack. I grew out of it though as I know that it's how they are raised. I haven't had a dog since 2004 and I miss that. But they are like children, you have to give them a lot of time and love.

First of all you are a dick. every one know that american bully are not fully blooded pit bull ( unless they are certain cam, greyline, kon line dogs. WHere are you from? I know that a lot of ppl are scared of pits in the world, but that bad??? I made my neighbors like it though. Sadie stays in the yard when we let her out and does not go out alone so they really cant complain. No fenced in yard. =-/ doesnt matter though. Pits are like escape artist! lol

Ok, I have a question for you guys, my pit has stopped sitting proper. I can't even reall force her to. She always sits lazy with the legs kicked to the side or kinda on her tail like a fat kid. How can I get to her sit properly again? She is a bit over weight and I started taking her to parks but it's too cold out now.

My female does the same thing kinda favors one side when sitting. I don't think it's anything to worry about, mine has done it since she was little.
