View Full Version : How much is gas where your located?:
I am pretty sure this thread does not belong here but I just believe the Efsquad is where I should be at all times.haahaha
:goodjob:
But anyways how much are you guys paying for gas around your area?.Im down here right outside of Augusta and the prices are really just crazy. So I am sure up closer toward Atlanta they have to be way worse. And are you running a b-series(meaning)your having to pump premium?.
What kind of milage do you normally get in your ef?.
Thanks everyone.

Well...although I can't recall exactly how much it is, I DO know that here on base it's not much cheaper than out there on the town...I think we're like 4.0X for premium, right now?
Yea the other day it went up to $4.99 for regular.I remember back when I got my first car it was like $2 or less for a gallon.Less than $20 filled up my crx and I drove for ever. Those were the days :(

I was in town this past weekend. I saw the 4.99. Hurt to know I was only getting like 25 to the gallon. I miss my hatch, bad. Back when I first started driving, it was 1.67 and I had a 5.9L dodge ram... I was SO pissed when it went UP to 2.00. I did alot of landscaping at my own schedule, so if I was broke, I'd load up the sh*t, and hit a lawn ahead of schedule, damn near fill the tank, and still be able to take a girl to a decent dinner.

Yea, I think he was in the Reserves for only like four years. He still loves the Corp. My grandfather was a Marine too, he passed away in December. I'm not sure what, ''MOS" stands for though.

Condolences on your grandfather. I assure you he was a good man...he is a marine. I've got a grandfather who is a retired marine, another that was army-air-force, and finally an uncle who is high-ranking navy.
MOS is basically another way of saying job. Usually in the form of four letters and a description. I'm a 6113; CH-53E Mechanic.

Yea, he worked on the helicopters and such. So I guess he was a mechanic, too. I mean, he's the reason I like cars. lol I have an uncle who is in Army Reserves for almost 20 or more so years now. Ex-Army uncle. Uhh...*shrug*

Def tell your dad a 53 mech said semper fi, though, and as him which bird he was. I THINK he was maybe a 53A. If so, I work on his bird...but a newer generation of it. The 53E.

Well, I've got 4.5yrs left in my current contract. My sign-on bonus vs. contract with Sikorsky vs. contract with Dobbins ARB will be the debating factor over what I do, most likely. I wanna stay working on aircraft, and get my own, one day...plus still have time to play with my car. :)
