this is the first time of me doing major body work and would like to know what you guys think....

Why didn't you just drill out the seam welds? Looks good though.

just be careful when you weld it in not to deform the metal... do several spot welds spaced apart a couple of inches, then go back between those.... if you run a solid bead across it you are gunna have alotta warpage...

yeah the trunk shut fine i just got to line it up and tack weld it in placw i should have more pic of it tomorrow if im not tired from work tomorrow

qft... don't rush the weld... too much heat will cause for a lot of headache...

usually when i do rears and such, i will always pull and line up the body lines before i cut, it just makes it alot easier when you go to weld, and bolt everything up in the end. except that looks good. if you got any questions i can help you out if you want. i work over at classic collision.

yeah you already ****ed up..

you are supposed to pull them to get them straight andthen cut it off.

but hey. props for trying!

and do as said before.. do small spot welds.. NO beads. you will warp the piss out of it.
