Anyone watching?
When Obama was asked his question's he managed to pretty much avoid answering them by going off topic. McCain is actually answering the questions knowing that some people may not like his answer. No "um um um um um" before the answer from McCain.
edit: I also love how McCain is making sure to point out how the private sector can accomplish more than government.

Make an Obama thread, we will be more than happy to contribute.

It'll all be the same thing, one side will feel like their candidate is THE candidate so there is no objectivity. Just the endless back forth of rants and mindless banter, I'll hold my tongue till after the election for now.

I caught a little bit of it and I have to agree he did seem to avoid the true question. I'm not pro either of them, I don't plan on voting for either of them this year.

Do i see the country in shambles? no.
You have one bump in the economy and you point your finger at the president, it shows your ignorance.
The 12lber is probably the most educated liberal i have seen on this website. Tony makes good points too.
But you are a different story.
How does wanting someone who maybe has a clue what they are doing going to make us a bunch of hicks? And it all matters who they are getting their intelligence from, joint chiefs and their cabinent are the ones who feed them most information. A president is not a genius and omniknowledgeable of all situations.
The main thing that makes me want to vote for McCain over Obama is exactly what the OP said. He gives you a straight shoot on the questions instead of endless political banter that Obama spits out endlessly that just makes him sound good.
I have no doubt in my mind if we had a huge national emergency on our soil that Obama would crack, he doesn't have enough personal integrity in my opinion. Its all a facade

how about that? This is no different than calling Obama, Osama, and you are intelligent enough to know that.
Bush is an idiot and we all know that, but is he responsible for the downturn of the economy? No, if anyone in Washington is then its the congress.
Is Bush responsible for Iraq, yes, but an equal amount of responsibility can be thrown on the UN fo being gutless and not enforcing their own resolutions for the previous decade.
Blaming Bush for Katrina and 9/11 is just ignorantly passing blame away from those that are responsible.
So did I support Bush, yes. Do I like Bush as President, no, but he was far better than either Gore and Kerry.

More bandwagoning from conservatives.
But hey, its the easy way
the rest of your post would have made sense if you didn't add in that disclaimer so the liberal armies would not attack you.
