Actually, that's what I thought it meant at first.
It stands for High Dynamic Ranging* (I believe). It takes the different dynamic ranges in the light and merges them into one picture.

I hate HDR lol. Don't like the way it looks at all. But nice pics. None of the ones in this thread are "overdone" imho.

what program did you use and how many shots are combined?
I'm using CS2, and I'm just using 3 pictures.
