My gf is moving from Coconut Creek, FL to ATL. We've checked with Uhaul and the quoted us tremediously high for moving 1 way, like $1,000
Does anyone know a good moving company for a cheap price???
Thanks a lot. :)

canyou please ask if there's any program or any discount?
Try a company called "allied" or something... I used work for them. Not sure if they're cheap, but they paid under the table so I assume so.

mp5o - Hey man! wheres my rep point!..dont give me another neg haha
Lol... I tried but it says i cant.
Whats costing so much is that your going one way. if you can somehow get someone to drive it back to where you got it, its SO MUCH cheaper.
I rented a Uhaul trailer when I moved, it was $29.99 local (from saturday morning till monday morning), but if I wanted to drop it off in MIlledgeville it was a $189.99. Thankfully my stepdad was able to drive it back since he had to go back to Lawrenceville anyways...
Just a thought if you can work it out.

Eli - I tried to think of that way, but it'll just be as expensive for the gas (700miles), plus they aren't unlimited milage but instead .99/mi so It'd end being more than twice expensive :(

Yeah i was afriad on the trucks they might charge you per mile... well, it works if you want a couple trailers, haha. No mileage, biggest you can get is 6x12 tho.

One ways they always charge HIgh because you are removing a truck from the Local market there and adding it to a new location so there is a penalty that is paid to do so. I was told that yesterday at Uhaul because I was going to drop the truck I rented off in L-Ville From Northern Suwanee because I didn't want to pay the milage to return and they said it would be $300 to do so. So I was like I'll just bring the POS Back to you.
