That's not actually correct.

There were indeed years of Rabbit convertibles. the cabriolet didn't start until I believe 85 or 86, with the name changing to Cabrio in 94.

I always wanted the cabriolet, but now I have too many projects going on and need to move them. I have only had them a few months and dont know alot about them. If I keep the 88 cabriolet I need the sides and flares to complete the clipper kit.

admin ...... it does not run. needs motor. found one for 200. the problem right now is; all i got is bill of sale. the guy i got it from has lost the title. i gotta find out if you can get it registered with bill of sale. i originally bought it for parts for my 84. i like the quad grille and clipperkit better. i just dont have time to work on them right now i have toooooo many projects going on. if they dont sell i will make 1 of 2 and have 1 coooooooool gas saver.lol

I was just reading the other posts and someone mentioned that neither runs? If the 84(one with title) doesn't run, do you know why? Let me know asap. I am interested with cash in hand(well, not hand, in the bank, lol). I would want the 84 but swap the wheels and the black convertable top with the other one. Just please send some more info. Also, it is a manual, right? 4spd or 5spd?
