Bump, and I almost wrecked the talon today. Coming around (so bumpy it was making my car unstable) a wet wet wet elbow curve, 3rd gear the ass end slid out, So I kinda "drifted" the car through the curve. Fun. I found out I can't drive in a straight line for ****. :D

Turns out I have a low 14 second car but couldn't seem to run better than a 15.2. Spinning all the way through first, horrible reaction and 60ft., and backing off at the 1000ft line thinking it was the 1320...It would be fast with a decent driver, lol.

And then my intake manifold cracked and starting spitting coolant everywhere.

I'm addicted.

Just a little hairline crack, but the high pressure at high revs was enough to spew a little.

Nothing a little epoxy won't temporarily fix. :)

it was alright took forever to get through tech and the staging lanes. if and when we have another one we need to leave earlier that way if people want to run theyll have a chance to do more than just one.

oh and i bogged off the line and did a 2 to 5 shift and quit the race. but had a great reaction time and a quicker 60' than tommy....mwahahahahahahahahaha. underpowered 4 cyl takes v8 in the low end range while bogging. mwahahahahahahahahahaha

Well I got in around 2:30 this morning due to my buddies GTI breaking. The 2 guys I was with got 3 runs in each. We got there around 6:15, were through tech around 7:00, made the first pass around 7:30. The GTI I was with had a best of a 15.6 with a 2.6 60'. The Mustang that came down ran a 14.999 with a 2.5 60'. I hoping to have the Honda ready for the next trip down.

Yeah, we discussed that next time we are gonna be there around 5:45 so when the gate opens we can roll right in and right through tech. I was talking to a guy who got 2 runs in between 6:30 and 7 while everyone else was going through tech.

Lol, because the Mustang was spinning well past the 60ft.

I'll have slicks next time and we won't have that problem.

Hate to change the subject of Mustang bashing but...

I need some Miata help/parts including wheels, hard top and a front passenger fender (pref. red.) and tons of other junk. Trying to help fix up one of these go-carts. :)
