You might have to go through the bottom? or try to take it out on intake side/remove intake.

On my accord which is an 86, its supposed to come out of the bottow of the car. If you take the factory intake off though, then it will come out through the top, I dont have the factory one anymore so i can pull mine out either way, but go to autozone.com and use the online manual. Should help you out.

Remove the two nuts holding the master cylinder to the booster. Then pull the master cylinder up and towards the intake manifold. It will come out.

then remove the gas tank, an you should be able to see it clearly, then go to the passside an remove the glove box, then take out the evaporator box a remove the expansion valve an then you can see the hole threw the fire wall... go to the other side, of the car an look under the rear seat... look for some money found any? ok thats mine, get your ass back over under the hood, look in the fuse block an remove the 7.5 amp fuse for the radio, go inside an turn you radio on, if it comes on your screwed, if it doesnt, then your almost there, go under the hood an take a BMFH (big mother fuking hammer) an hit your self in the head, nono just kidding hit the battery until you see fluid once you done that, you should see the alternator on the ground on fire, lmk if this helps!
