my friend's wrecked RSX

not completely sure what happend. he and his friend were going down a dark road and aparently lost control and hit a tree. he doesn't remember much, but he's going to have surgery on his eye cause he shattered the bone, and the motor went into the cab and broke his friend's leg.

the weird thing is the police said that there was no skid marks to show that he even tried to stop and that he must've been going over 100mph.

he's pretty lucky if you ask me.

Why do parents buy their kids "fast" cars. This **** always happens. There needs to be a strict rule in place, if your under 21 and get a speeding ticket for over 15mph or get in a wreck thats your fault you automatically loose your license for 6 months. This is getting ridiculous. From that kid flipping his integra going a claimed 25mph to this kid slamming to a tree at what im sure he is going to claim was 35 or 45mph. This needs to stop.

my friend did make a mistake, he liked to drive too fast and he was too excited cause he just got that car about 2 weeks ago. i'm pretty sure he learned his lesson.

i thought it was a georgia law but up here in dalton where i live if your under 21 and get a ticket for 15 over you do lose your license for 6 months and i think it's the same for a wreck. well i am glad to here that both will be ok. do you think he would sell the seat's. i hate to ask something like that after a wreck happens but what the hell.

i like how people talk **** about people being young and driving fast. everyone on here has drove there car well over 15 mph over the speed limit and when someone has a wreck the first thing that come's out is "dumb ass kid driving to fast" yes its dangerous to drive to fast but just be glad there ok and hope they learned there lesson. my car was totaled a few months back because a lady ran a red light and i never wore my seatbelt and now i do. i dont mean to ***** but look at the positive side of this.........there both ok.

some extra information: my friend got an eye patch today to cover up his nasty eye so he wouldn't gross people out while it stops swelling. and one thing i left out yesterday is that when he hit that tree, one of his headlights flew 60 feet from the car in the middle of the woods.

Glad he's going to recover. Hopefully he's learned his lesson. That's a sad sight. It's lucky that his friend escaped with only a broken leg. Looks like another foot or so, and that motor is in his chest.

Thats the worst idea ive heard in a while. Someone gets into an accident with a guy who stopped short, they're 19, now they can't get to work/school. ****ing brilliant. IDEA FAIL. Don't punish everyone because of a few idiots.

State laws are 24+ over you lose it for 6 months. Accidents I think will only cost you your license if you go over on points, or kill someone I guess.
