They need to make better looking Sunfire bumpers in the aftermarket though, those headlights look great, nobody's made anything that truly plays off the looks though. Quite a shame. I gotta give it to you for being different.

Just so long as you're not a dumbass about how you tune it, and you're not an asshat about how you talk about it, then I approve. I like that you haven't riced out that Sunfire.

As for Red GT, you have the disappointment Eclipse in the family, the ugly cheese grater door version that pissed people off by going FWD only and losing the turbo engine option for a heavy gas hungry V6. STFU if you're going to down him for being different.

I'm not downing him for being different but I have yet to see a CLEAN SUNFIRE. To me the body stock looks ricey but thats just my opinion.

yea gm made turbo engines that came optional in sunbird's, and grandam's. and dont even thing about it. your 2.4 dual cam is more technolgy advance and responds to modification better.

Does it have an Ecotec, or is it non-eco?

If its non-eco, you should probably try to get an Ecotec motor....but you HAVE TO get tranny off the same motor (or same size and kind of motor), or it wont bolt up.

Also, to swap your trans to a 5-spd, you'll need to reflash your ECU, or pull that from the 5-spd car too. best to just find a wrecking yard that has cavi or sunfire front clips; all the parts should be there if you decide to buy the clip.

it went from a auto 3.1v6 to a 5spd 2.0 turbo.. not sure if the older trannies worlk with the ecotec motor, but there are alot of 5spd cavy's and sunbirds in the yard.
