Is Chow yun fat really a veteran Martial artist? For some reason I thought I remembered CYF being a Cinema martial artist.

Jackie Chan was a cinema martial artist but Chow Yun Fat was not. In the bonus feature of the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon DVD, several people including CYF mentioned that the movie was his first martial arts movie and he had to undergo training for several months to learn the stuff he had to do in the movie.

Thats what I thought, I just wasnt sure. I know Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, etc. all attended the Peking opera house. From what I remember this is an acting school with several students with Kung Fu backgrounds. There are others, I am just too tired to remember them.
Chow Yun Fat...The replacement killers, good gunfights.

I love Chow Yung Fat....but I think Jet Li would win. Chow would def. win the acting part....but Jet Li has him on the martial arts.
