just bought some tires from this place that gave me a good deal, but they seem to have trouble stretching tires. they didnt have trouble stretching the fronts which were Nankang NS-II 235/35/19 on my 19x9. the rears they couldnt do it so i reordered 245/35/19 to be put on a 19x10. its a very mild stretch also. im sure they can end up doing it but it just seems like a hassle for them and they might mess up my wheels. so if you guys know of any place that has experience with stretching tires then i sure would appreciate it....Thanks

Here are 185's on 11 inch rims. This is ridiculous IMO.

Im guessing that he got such a good deal that he wants to try and run with these tires.
I'm with trymy4.0. Get the proper size tires and run with those. who knows what can happen as a result of stretched tires.

Don't take a corner with them. Stretching is definately not the best of ideas to do when it comes to tires. The sidewalls are designed as a structural member with the rim and is basicly compromised when one is foolish enough to put smaller tires on wide rims. A tire that's too narrow under hard driving has the tendecy to come unbeaded and, well, let's just say you'll probably have a bad day after that. Upgrade to the proper sized tire. At least a 255 series or be even smarter and just reduce the rim diameter and make a compromise for an 18 inch rim.

Most chain places will just say no.
Try to find a place that caters to the low-rider scene.
Or search youtube for self-mounting techniques.
Good Luck.

I KNOW Butler Tire in Alpharetta will do it. I have 245s on my 9.5s in the rear and he wanted me to do 235s back there. If you go there talk to Geordie and he will take care of any stretching needs for you. Tell him Jordan with the Black Passat sent you.
