Iv been curious if my egay halo projectors are taking away the full HID effect..i have McCulloch 30k HID kit(yes there really 30k!)they look whiteish/blue..but Nitro and the person i bought them from says 30k are pink? would putting these in normal headlights bring the true color and brightness out?
sorry if its a noob question.im just curious.

For the egay headlights the brightness will be affected because of quality... OEM headlights will have a bad glare.... best is do a retofit...

yes thats true. ebay headlights use sheap plastic that can shift the light or block the output completely.

The higher in temperature you go, the less light output. Halogen lights put out the same amount of lumens as a 12k HID would. 30K HID= NO lumens.

Plastic is plasting wether is cheap or not. When it's new AND if it's clear, it will put out the same amount of light.

Nothing other than looks. If you want REAL lighting then you need to stick with 4300k which is what comes stock in most cars. That puts out 4500 lumens if I'm correct as opposed to 1500 lumens that halogen/12000k HID put out. I'm not quite sure on the exact amount of light going out but it is almost three times more.

The higher your go up in temperature, the less light is put out.
Bottom line, if all you care about is looks, then you have to sacrifice visibility. Personally, it makes more sense to invest that much money on something that will IMPROVE your overall driving experience (4300k-6000k).

just go out and buy some HID bulbs that are in the 4300k to 6000k range that should fix your problem.

8000k is where it's at and yeah it owuld help to aim them up a tad bit. you can also take out the peice of metal inside the projector that tends to block some of the light

whatever you do, don't take out the metal piece/cutoff for the light. You'll be blinding on coming passengers.
