Well to pass tech inspection at commerce drag strip I had to move my battery back under my hood. I plan on redoing the holder as soon as I can get a press break.

I cut a 1/2" out of each side where they meet. Connected them together and bolted it to the bottom of the bumper. The bend is almost perfict and went on really easy. Best part is I got it new for $45.

yup yup. you'd be suprised how the lip follows almost the same bend as our bumpers. when i had mine on, i had a few people say it looks like is was made for the car, lol
too bad that was INSANLY low and mine broke :(. I'm suprised your's hasn't broke yet bro. The material they're made out of isn't as forgiving as i thought

mine took a hell of a beating last week in the mountains. Didn't hurt it at all. I've smacked the ground with it a few times but I'm really carefully with my car anyway.
I don't mind breaking a $45 lip compared to the passwordjdm.com lip at $150+.

Not a good night on the turbo project. My metal cuter disk is shot and my hand saw broke. I did get the cold side piping ran all I need to do is cut a piece in half and clamp them all down. I'm out of money so the hose and custom pipeing I need for the hot side and down pipe will have to wait till this weekend. Also go my EG radator but cant start fittig it untill the crossmember is put back on(had to remove it to get the header off). My biggest issue is its freaking HOT in my garage.
I put my camera in my pocket and it turned on so the batt. is dead. cameraphone pics

http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF1579.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF1580.jpg
The perficlly shaped radiator hose I found at Autozone.
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF1581.jpg
The exhaust side.
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF1586.jpg
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF1587.jpg
All I have left to do is oil feed, oil drain, down pipe, lower radiator hose(stock one won't fit the radiator), fix my oil leak from my oil pump, figure out how to put a air filter on the turbo. Then after I get it back on the ground pull the gas tank and install new fuel pump and install the fuel pressure regulator.

Update
14B turbo arrived today and as of 5 min ago I have ordered everything to finish the install. Plus some other toys to go with the boost.
AEM wideband gauge
weld in O2 fitting
14B dump pipe
J-pipe
Thats it I will start installing all of it as soon as it gets to my house. I'm hoping to do the exhaust by next weekend and have it running by the end of next weekend.
Today I fixed the intercooler pipeing on the passange side. That blue 90* was geting on my nerves so I fliped the pipe around and now its the same on both side in the bumper.

Its back and its turboed again. I had to change the manifold due to over heating issues. I used a HF crx manifold with a HF to td05 adapter. Now I can put in a full size radiator.
Now to just get it tuned...

Looking good Mike. Wish I could have fit a full size rad. in mine(fukin B series  ) It wouldn't matter what kind of fan you put on it, you would have always had some overheating issues with it leaned back and tilted like before, trust me I tried. BTW lose that air filter. I had one identical to that and went I went to get tuned, Scotty told me to take it off b/c it was trash and it killed the power.

Fixed it by plugging the PCV port on the intake manifold and running a catch can to the black box on the back of the motor. No more high crank case pressure:goodjob:
Then I installed a HKS mega flow air filter.

http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/cordiaturboowner/DSCF2532.jpg

Test fitted my new lip. Its dirty and has a few scratches but I found it on the ground covered in weeds at Honda Part Connection. I have no idea what it went on and nether did anyone that worked there. Best part is its almost a direct fit to the 90-91 CRX bumper. Not bad for $15.
All that's left is to cut and bend the sides to match the bumper then sand it smooth and paint it.

still lookin good. how much boost were you running on your z6? i dunno if i wanna keep mine or buy an LS with forged internals.

I've seen a few cars this color but never a CRX.
I was running 10psi on the Z6 but the boost didn't have that much to do with the rod knock. I just ran it at to high of a RPM for to long(long rear ration DX transmission) and stretched the rod bolts. Plus the motor had a good amount of miles on it too.(not sure how many but in a year and a half I put on 9000 miles.)

 The motor is coming (Hehe coming) apart vary nice. I cant get the crank pulley off so I got to get a breaker bar this afternoon. It was the #3 rod bearing that granaded. These a good amount of metal shavings on my oil pickup screen but other than that everything looks good. The piston walls look great with one little mark it the #3 thats smooth to the touch.

Wow what a seriously unproductive day. All I got done today was replaced both the axle seals and the shifter shaft seal on my friends si transmission.
I also bought a new breaker bar and got my crank pulley off and pulled out the crank shaft. Finished striping it. Cleaned and degreased the motor so I can lay some fresh olive green and satin black paint on the block, head, and valve cover.
Also bought one of these so I can spec the bearing surfaces and piston walls.

I just bought the first internals for my motor. SCAT H beam rods and ACL bearings.
I may buy the complete gasket set tomorrow. The rods and bearings came out to be $373.49.
I decided not to go with the vitara pistons and instead I'm going with 9.0:1 CP pistons so I should be able to get some good high HP # out of it.

Vitara pistons are good and all but the 7.4 CP is the problem I have with them. Even using the custom length rods from FJdistributors.com they still only make it 8.4CP. Not bad but still there not forged there a specially cast aluminum piston and I think I'll just spent the money and go for the good stuff since its already tore apart anyway.

I've got everything I needed to install it in my CRX except the 90-91 cluster cover. I have one but I just got to go pick it up from a friend. I'm going to get motivated and try to get this sucked finished by next week but I really don't see me finishing the motor or the cluster swap soon.
All thats left to do on the motor is finish notching the block and reassemble it.
