is it possible that you have an electrical draw while the cars off? (ex. loose wires, poorly installed stereo)

What's been recently done to the car? There may be a negative and positive reversed somewhere...

OBD1 only had a primary while the OBD2's have a primary and secondary right?

the one in the cat is the one i replaced ... i guess its the secondary ... where is the eld located ???It's not the ELD, it's that sensor. OBD1 sensors have 2 wires, OBD2 have 4...two being for the built-in sensor heater and that connection is being read as open thus causing the code.

so it the sensor that is causing all this mess ... so that is causing the battery not to charge ...

so it the sensor that is causing all this mess ... so that is causing the battery not to charge ...can't guarantee that but gotta start with what you do know and if that's a 2 wire O2 sensor then it can throw that code...

FIRST, Check the fuse inside the car in the fuse panel for the alternator. <--that fuse being blown out will throw that code as well

ELD is located on the underside of the main fuse box under the hood

the fuse isnt blown but not reciveing any current .. and the o2 sensor have four wires ...
