Who has flown Spirit Air?

i'm trying to see if anyone has flown Spirit Air in the past? i never have heard of them..but they're uber cheap to Las Vegas (wOOt SEMA) and they have new Airbus planes with leather seats. i usually always fly Delta and have had no complaints (except when coming back to atlanta from LA when the 757 was so busted that my seat wouldn't recline a milimeter)....

Spirit Airlines can't be counted on, they'll nickel and dime you on things like baggage (seriously.. WTF), and they will make zero effort what so ever to rectify any situation that they create. I'm totally expecting tomorrow to be a complete debacle, and will arrive at the airport extra early. Possibly with boxing gloves (and sadly, $5 for my baggage)

I flew Spirit a couple months ago. The planes are really nice. Just be full warned... you have to pay for the bags you check in on the plane. And if you want any kind of drinks ( coke, alcohol, juice) you have to pay for it also. Water is free and you can bring drinks on the plane from inside the airport. Other than that they are not bad. I will fly that airline again.
