had a problem like that with my si, I had a clogged cat, caused back pressure and I jumped timing.
so I suggest check ur cat. convertor abd your timing belt to see if its off

dont have a cat and just changed my timing belt 3000 miles ago. I even took it to a shop they told me it was my oil pressure because of v-tec but i cheaked my oil and it wasn't that. im stumped!!

it is probably either the map sensor or an o2 sensor. Also check your fuel filter. If it is running rich you will want to get a new set of spark plugs as well.

always check your codes if you have a cel...it'll save you a lot of time by pointing you in the right direction instead of getting an erroneous e-diagnosis.

find out what your codes are and report back.

o2 sensor most likely.

do a tune up too like plugs, wires, rotor button, your due for it anyway

make sure before you do all that stuff, that your spark plug wires are all tightly connected.

It's your ignition coil.. or your rpm cam sensor in the distributor try swaping a dizzy from a running car.. and i bet it goes away..

that spark plug thing really makes a difference. haha my cousins spark plugs needed to be change and it made us ride horrible cause it was misfiring...so it sputtered

What is beign described is Def.. the Internal cam sensor in the dizzy it's skipping a beat... I bet $$ that his RPM Gauge is bouncing around all over the place when it starts to sputter.... :diespam:
