he did what he had to do, it's just bad luck that it went in. if he'd let it go alves would've put it in on the cross.

judging by how the tournament progressed there was absolutely no way to predict the way this game went. all the people that went for brazil before it started don't know what they're talking about. compare the way brazil played throughout copa america and the way argentina played, and you'll see argentina played superior football since the start. this was a hell of an upset.

some good points but the better team didnt win today, the team that wanted it more won. Brazil felt like they had prove the entire world wrong because no one thought that Brazil could have done it with this team. Like disrupt said, there's no way in hell anyone would of guessed Brazil would of won, especially with how good Argentina was playing and how rough of a start Brazil had. And like jamaican said, the better team did not win today. If Argentina would of played today like they played against Mexico, the outcome would of been a completely different one, and it would of made for a better game. I'm with you jamaica, I would of never thought Brazil would win this tournament with this team. But they wanted it more and went out and got it...early too.

Anywho, Argentina needs to stop letting people down haha. I definitely thought they had what it took to win this cup and the World Cup last year too :yes:

i still say you can't blame him for that, it was a catch 22. let the ball cross and take a goal, or try to stop it and potentially score an own goal. he went for it, and shit happened.
