Well i have thought about it and i am interested in stroking the b18c to a 2.0L.
looking for the pros and cons, and whatever else useful.i have been doing tons of searching on many sites Honda-tech being the main one.just wanted to see if anyone has done something like this on here who can give me any useful info, point me in the right direction and steer me far away from mistakes.
any info is appreciated,thanks.

DONT STROKE IT OUT!!! Bore the motor out wen you build

If you really really want a 2.0L just get a B20 block and sleeve it. Stroking/Boring a GSR to 2.0 is going to cost a whole lot more and provide just about the same power gains.
You also have to remember longer stroke will reduce your max RPMs thus cutting into the time you have to play in VTEC.
Leave the motor stock stroke, bore it over a little, and use the money you would use on stroking the motor for head work, balancing the bottom end, and forged internals.

Put the oversize ITR, P30 or CTR pistons in to increase the compression.

thanks for the help.

Just an OEM route suggestion.

i noticed alot of JUN,SPOON and other japanese racecars have been stroked to 2.0/2.1L's from the b18c's .. it still is a big intrest i have,we'll see what happens i guess.thanks for the help everyone

if you bore it out to 84mm and sleeve it, you will be able to make torque a lot easier. im assuming you are going turbo? the larger displacement will also help you to spool earlier

If you want torque...you don't want a B Series. Go K20 or K24 if you want torque.
Building the motor and doing head work will enable you to raise the RPMs. You don't need to stroke out a B18C to make power if you're going to build it properly.
Yeah, JUN, Spoon, and others use a stroked motor. But they also put hours and hours and hours into triple checking everything, tuning, maintaining and building. They also spend tons of money. Most people don't want to spend $15,000+ on an all motor engine.

stroking a B18C is a waste of time and money. The spoon and jun stroker kits are for the B16B, which up displacement to 1.8L. The B18C is usually just bored over. I have not seen spoon or jun use stroked B18C's.

I had a GSR stroked and my honest opinion on it is this....Yes it made good torque but it didnt hold together worth shit. If ur doing to to rev out then be careful. It didnt like the revs at all and mine was turbod. At 11psi mine made 317whp and 276trq. SO yes it makes hellacious torque but what good is it if it didnt last but 2000 miles. I wouldnt do it for a DD at all. It is cool to tell people you have it but functionality is extremely important to me in a car.

man you are hell bent on stroking it. Dont you think that anybody who spends the money on stroking the engine is going to have it done right? That doesnt matter. It could be built by the best engine builder in the country and only last 1500 miles. A stroked B18C just isn't a good idea. It is not worth the money. The rod/stroke ratio or the B18C is superior to the R/S ratio of a stroked B18C. When you stroke the engine, the piston speed will go up, which means the engine will wear faster. Just have your engine bored out a little (1mm over will give you about 20cc's extra in the engine.) You could have it sleeved and go with 84mm or 84.5mm pistons, which would put you around 2.0L. Since the stroke remains the same, you will be able to rev to 8k+ rpm just as with a stock bore B18C1. Remember, if you up the displacement, you will need bigger cams and need to get the head worked to flow more.

DO NOT STROKE IT
learn about rod stroke ratios.
if you want displacement, SLEEVE IT

Dont stroke it, the b20/b18a/b cranks are more than enough stroke for a b series and can handle ANYTHING you can throw at them. sleeve the block for 800$ and spend 100$ boring and honing the fucker and put some forged pistons and rods in, and then spend your saved non wasted cold hard cash from not buying a worthless stroker kit on HEAD STUFF!!

This statement isnt true. The larger stroke CAN play in revability. But the amount of time in vtec statement is false. You engage the 2nd cam lobe when the motor is capable of using the larger amount you are giving it. I larger motor is going to suck more air at a lower rpm than a smaller one, so vtec could be in the 4k range rather than 5500 or higher. Head work also has a lot to do with that as well. A worked head will flow more air than stock one thus allowing you to give it more sooner. BUT, you all motor guys are all about some big cams and the primary lobes on them are so large that your vtec usually stays pretty high.
I am sure someone can find you a picture of a "stroker" crankshaft.
