We (Middle Georgia Chapter of Freaks of Nature) are hosting our 3rd annual show. It is in a new location...the Perry National Fairgrounds. We're going to have dragging, a pre-show party, and best of all...custom made trophies. A guy in our chapter is making them at work...he works in a manufacturing shop, and sits around and welds all day. lol

All of the proceeds from the show will be going to the Braylon Braddy Fund. It is a fellow minitrucker who's son is very young, and has lived with a handicapping disease for most of his life. They have to take him for treatments, which costs thousands of dollars. We're just trying to help out a fellow minitrucker.

Minitruckin' will be on hand to shoot, as well as Street Trucks, Gauge, Built2Rail Magazine, and Underground-Scene.com. And...we do have I-75 within 100 feet from the show grounds.

Drop Em Wear? will be designing the show shirts once again this year, and will be on hand to sell them. We are awaiting the shirt design for this year. Here is the shirt from last year....

It's a different kind of dragging. Basically, the vehicle on air suspension will dump all air while driving, laying the frame/drag plates/drag blocks on the ground throwing up a shit ton of sparks.....pretty nifty to watch :) Scinergy was at their show last year, and it was a very good time.

***UPDATE ON THE SHOW***

still working on the dragging but we did obtain asphalt parking for show vehicles today. we now have grass and asphalt parking available for show vehicles. we also have 2 different entrances now, one for spectators and one for show goers.

we also established today that the fairgrounds are locked overnight. anyone who wants to leave their vehicle overnight will be able to, it will be locked up. if you would like to park your vehicle friday or if you are a vendor and want to setup your booth friday, we will be there until 7p.m. friday night to do pre registrations, parking, and booth set ups. after 7 p.m. the gates will be locked and we will be off to the pre show party. the location of the party should be determined by the end of this week. the first location we had fell through. we are waiting on confirmation for the new location. holla at me if yall need anything!!!

the georgia national fairgrounds, where the show is being held, is a state owned property. unless your navigation was broke it should take you directly there w/ no problems. perry isnt atlanta, but isnt a hole in the wall either.

I don't think there's anything wrong at all with Perry. I went, for years, to the Great Perry Give-Aways down at the fairgrounds in the late 90s and early 00s. Showed for about 4-5 years there. Later, QD.

let me explain something here. i posted this thread to promote a show. the first motherfucker on there talking shit was the fag of all fags, qd. im not real sure why. im not concerned w/ jacking my own thread either, the pre party starts tomorrow and the show is on sat. and sun. we have had tons of promotion on this event, this was just another forum to promote it on. i know about the tunerfest shootout and the drift thing on sun. in cordele as well so i didnt expect a real big response from here anyway. i have been on this forum for a while now and it seems everytime i post something, regardless of what its about, he is the one who always come on running his cockholster. he talks all this shit for no fucking reason what so ever. he also seems to think for some reason im letting this get me worked up as well and im not. im not letting it get me worked up i just wish he'd shut his fucking trap. if it wasnt for the fact that he has to always be the one saying something it would be different. if it was someone else or several different people doing it, it would be different, but its always that piece of shit. i know i dont know you from adams housecat, but i just felt the need to explain myself. l8r

1. the 2 threads were NOT identical.
2. tunerfest shootout is on the top of the page, stickied and all, its a car show, not that much of a difference.
3. no "fake" name was made. the name is another one i use on other forums. i posted the other thread under the "fake" name so the thread we are still talking on now would be deleted. i was going to delete this username and use the "fake" one because its more current. but apparently you cant make changes like that here either.
4. i never made a comment about "having to do" an activity for the show "illegally". what people do "illegally" is their business, i wasnt condoning it i was just stating that there were probably gonna be people partaking in it, as they always do. they partake in it at their own risk. any event we go to people hit the highway and do their thing, thats their business. if they are caught doing something illegal they pay the price, that has nothing to do with me unless im the one doing it or in a vehicle doing it.
