No spark with 2 distributors and I'm getting a code 8 CEL (TDC senser) I don't have to cash to get it towed home and I don't have the cash for a new distributor. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm hoping my friend will let me barrow his z6 distributor tomorrow so I can see if it will start and drive it home.

You may can get away with just replacing the coil and rotor or cap on the dizzy. As far as spark., gottcha :goodjob: I never kept the spark plug on just took the cable to frame of car and saw spark. But keep me updated Mike :goodjob:

It would of been better, if you had the tools, I don't know if you did at that point, but to just pull the dizzy off and do as so, but yea if you're saying that Cam Gear is moving and Cam isn't [I'm trying to figure out how you see that lol] then yea the key comes to mind. no other vehicles available. and the guy that was suppose to help me has my 5000lb tow straps. I rode out to his house and his bikes there but no one is home.

I'll deal with my car tomorrow after work. I stopped and talked to the owner of the yard my cars at and he said it would be fine to leave my car there. I explained my situation to him and he was cool about it. Hopefully I can get in touch with someone with a truck and a tow line. If not I'm going to have to barrow the cash from my mom but were all straped for cash due to having to move and some other financial issues.

I finally got my car home. I ended up borrowing a rope and took the explore (with a cracked intake manifold gasket and water pouring out of the motor) over and me and my brother dragged it home.

Got the cam gear off and the key was sheered off.:thinking: The cam seized :( due to a over tightened timing belt:2up: So now I need a new head for my Y7 block.

i'm doing coilovers next just don't know if i want to get the d2's or the cheap knock offs

I wouldn't skimp on the coilovers. I had a buddy do the same thing and the knock offs were junk so he ended up spending more and getting what he originally wanted.

i used to have a chevy 1500 that was almost layin frame...1" off the ground...so i learned how to drive a lowered vehicle...

well my week just got worse... I just got home and I left oakwood at 10:30. My GSX-R died on the highway with about 25+ to go. gauges shut off lights dimmed and then the bike started missing and stalled. My bother drove down and jump started and charged my battery 5 times to get it home. So ether the stator or the voltage regulator is bad. So 2 of my three rides are down right now. LOL talk about bad luck hu?

glad your off-roading experience in my car helped you pick your springs. .... my busted mount to care of my clutch line so im waiting to get my stainless line....i has no vtec.....damn lumina...... :lmfao: and lonnie you saw how low my car is and it rides great with no scrubbing unless the speed bump it like the godzilla of speed bumps. and my spring tuck my 15's nicely.

Use eBay where necessary. Like with a front lip, y spend 400 dollars on a 'real' lip when it can get owned by a possum.. But motor wise and etc go brand name or whatever u like

my friends have b&m and skunk2 short shifters.. good quality and feel but i prefer the B&M over the s2
