I've already searched and did not find what i was looking for... so no stupid comments.

My car (00 civic) hit a curb on the front driver side and now the steering is going bad to the left. Also, when i put some 17's on the car, the rim is a lot closer towards the back of the fender than it is to the front bumper. howver, on the passenger side, the rims sit perfectly normal in the center. so when i turn left, there is a lot of rubbing going on. so i can only drive on 15s or smaller. i'm pretty sure it's not the alignment and is something bigger but i don't know what it is. anyone have any suggestions before i take it to the shop and pay an arm and leg? let me know what it is so that i can hopefully fix by myself. Thanks

you warped your shit.. best bet is to take it to a tire shop and let them fix what it broke and /or bent

Sounds like bent suspension parts to me. You'll have to get the car in the air and inspect everything. I would check the straightness of the control arm, first. Check to see if any of the cross members have moved, too.
