just as title is
i was in alabama at a funeral when i saw somthing on the side of the road so i turned around and got out i was shocked at what i saw:eek: .
it was a BLACK PANTHER .the first thing i did was took my phone out and snap a coupe of pics.look for your self. the local law was called and news.the wildlife mangement came out to get the body and i asked how somthing like this was out here.he said that the gov. will let them out to control the deer pop.:screwy: like they do for the bevers in the teneessee river (gators).this shit is crazy

My next question if you saw a big ass 6 foot cat on the side of the road, why the hell would you get out to take pics of it? Theres a chance it might not be dead!

my sisters husband is a firefigther and the cops told him that the wildlife officer weighed it at 203
i always pack
i got out threw a rock at it and pointed my gun at it i'm not that stupid

thats what i'm thinking.. couger maybe.. panthers are hard to get a hold of to.. lol doubt alabama would pay like 10k + for a panther to control deer.. thats what we have rifles for..

could have been someone pet..or bout 25 years ago a panther got away from the circus,and was in forest park,and was in my moms backyard,and ate the rabbits they had back there

YOU SHOULD HAVE SKINNED THAT CAT AND SELL IT ON EBAY!!!!...Or make a seat cover out of it. I remembered when I was in 7th grade and living in a small town in Louisiana. There was really no job so to make extra money, I would trap animals...Bobcat, Foxes, Raccoon, and Coyote. I was bringing 50-80 bucks a piece.

very interesting. all the deer culling I have ever heard of was DNR with rifles at night. I guess it would be effective if there wasnt a large human population in the area.

I can't imagine them using a jaguar to control deer unless like you said it just being a rural area...what if it ever found something to mate with :tongue:

Theres more big cats out there than people think. There have been plenty of sightings here in upstate SC, and a lot of farmers around my hometown had found their cattle clawed and ripped to pieces.
