I don't know if I'm gonna sell it as is with the D-MPFI in it, or if I'm gonna but the D-DPFI in it, or put the all-round disc brakes on it, or MAYBE start another LS swap, or keep it...not sure...

Yes it do. It's how I put mine in. I mean you have to bend the ends around just a little bit, but it's nothing major at all. It's a pain in the ass trying to get the lines OUt of the prop valve, though. Have good wrenches or locking pliars and ALOT of PB blaster nearby...

right now i'm tryin to get my tranny off so i can change my clutch and flywheel , also so i can get my crank pulley off , if i take out all tranny bolts and then lift up the motor , the tranny should come off rite?

The way I did it was by leaving the driver's side mount installed, and releasing all the others, making sure to clear the way of anything under the tranny. Make sure all wires and stuff are cleared and such, as well. The put a jack up under the engine/tranny (with the car lifted up) and release that final passenger's side mount. After that, slowly let down the the jack, and the engine should drop that one side down. Then release any final bolts holding the tranny to the block. It's gonna be a bitch, and you're gonna have to work it, but that's how I did it...

Unless you wanna just drop the whole motor down using this same method, but it's hard to slide the motor out from under the car...there's not much clearance at all. You'll want to pull out the forward crossmember and it's torque bars if you use this process.

To get that crank pulley out, you're gonna have one HELL of a fun time. You may as well get balloons and beer cuz you're gonna celebrate after getting it off...

Find a way to lock the engine. Sticking a screwdriver in one of the holes on the crank pulley DOES NOT WORK. It will break off a piece of your pully. It will bend your screwdriver if you try to lock the cam pulley, and you'll just jump timing...just take my word for it.

Air-impact driver's aren't much help, and I could be wrong, but swear the can of PB Blaster was laughing at me, too. Get a socket the EXACT size of that pulley bolt, and make sure it's 6 point. You're going to want a breaker bar with a 1/2" driver, and you MAY want an extension. Remember, the longer the extension the less torque the bolt will actually receive... Get a tool similar to this...

Lock that around the pulley, and you're going to want it on pretty tight. PUT A SHIRT OR SOME KING OF PADDING BETWEEN THE CHAIN AND THE PULLEY! THIS CHAIN WILL DAMAGE THE PULLEY AND CAUSE YOU TO EAT THROUGH BELTS! Lock the pliers on that pulley, and find a way to hold it steady. Sometimes you can sucker a friend in it.

Once this is done...torque away. You'll think you're breaking something...you're not. Just keep torqueing...

Oh...also...contrary to some people's thought process, the bolt IS NOT reverse threaded. So turn counterclockwise to take it out, just as you would any other bolt. Again, it is NOT reverse-threaded.

problem is my motor is not in the car! i cant get the tranny to separate from the motor , i need to do this in order to change my flywheel and clutch , when i get the tranny off , i can wedge something in the old flywheel and take off the crank pulley

However, at the same time, I'm debating building up the DA, now, instead of partint it out. All it really needs is a front end...and I think I can get the parts for fairly cheap. It'd become my new daily driver, and the EF would become more of a car to take to the track, although I'd plan to keep it legal for the streets for whenever...

Well, for me, I toyed with the car las tnight while the roads were real slick. Can spin through first, second, and most of third. On the streets today (dry and cold) I can spin through first, most of the way through second, and still break them loose for a second or two in third gear.

I'd say the power's back. When I get a timing light on it, I think she'll purr even better. I'm impressed with a stock LS motor. Now after I get the Integra build and on the streets, the civic will be tucked away in the garage to be built up. Can't wait to see the potential that engine has...

i have a breathalyzer in my car that has to be calibrated every month , i can tow it up there , but i have to have it to where i can turn the ign on , i tried hookin up the batt, and got nothing when i turned the key , the ign needs to come on in order to calibrate it , since the motor is out i dunno what needs to be connected in order for the ign to come on(new batt by the way) i need the car to be put back together so i dont have to pay the $100 towin bill , i had to do that last month

i have a breathalyzer in my car that has to be calibrated every month , i can tow it up there , but i have to have it to where i can turn the ign on , i tried hookin up the batt, and got nothing when i turned the key , the ign needs to come on in order to calibrate it , since the motor is out i dunno what needs to be connected in order for the ign to come on(new batt by the way) i need the car to be put back together so i dont have to pay the $100 towin bill , i had to do that last month

Dude, bad news...car is still running SUPERBLY...but went to the sniffer test and failed across the board! WTF! Pulled cat, looked it over, it was pretty well clogged, but the element was still in there in full...

Despite we had no codes, we went ahead and threw a brand new "OEM Bosch" o2 sensor, and new cat in there...wish her luck...

Oh, also, we tested the fuel pressure...it's dead on 28 which is where it's supposed to be...

I finally got a chance to test my car out a little bit against a worthy (or at that time I thought was a worthy :thinking: ) opponnet. A new Hyundai Tiburon V6 (i saw the little emblem as I passed LOL).

I was leaving columbus, talking to Toonz on the phone, and then a tiburon shot passed me doing the all mighty "ricer rev." So I got of the phone with Toonz and caught up with the car. He gets caught behide traffic, so I slows to about a car length or two behide him. Then when he saw an opening he guns it. {Roy Jones Jr voice} He "musta forgot" that any opening he can squeeze through, i can too. So off I go. In a matter of seconds I'm on his bumper, then I move over to the fast lane and pulls up to his driver's door. After that I let off the gas, cuz it wasnt worth it anymore. So basically, he had 1-2 car length lead, tried to squeezed through a small gap in traffic to leave me, and lost what ever lead he had in a matter of seconds. I just checked the specs and he should of dogged me (172hp---181lbs/ft). New cars these days are horrible :gay: !

Oh my god...I hurt...

We ended up going to wild wings cafe last night. Buddy of mine and I got to talkin' shit about eating hot foods. I told him he couldn't handle a braveheart wing (rated the hottest wing in Atlanta). He challenged me. A girl stepped in and was like "I'll do it!" Another buddy of mine was coming, and last time we went at it, I beat him, so I figured he'd be up for another. So I ordered 4 wings and waiting for my buddy to arrive.

He get theres and I hand him the wing and we go at it. After finishing it, it only took about 3 minutes before the first guy wussed out and grabbed the milk. I waited for the girl to get her milk, but she didn't bust. We sat there...sweating and dying, and the spiciness starting going away so we ordered 3 more. We chowed down and tears hit our eyes.

Spiciness started going away again, and we ordered 6 more, because this needed to end the game. I ask them to get them as hot as possible. The cook comes out from the back and personally looks us over in all of our glory and starts laughing and goes "Well...ok". He personally brings them out and sets them on the table, laughing...

The three of us look over our doom as the rest of the table is laughing their asses off. Our stomachs are already blazing because we didn't drink milk prior to the challenge (if you know anything about hot foods, you drink milk first so it coats the lining of the stomach to protect it. Also, milk is a base where as hot stuff is an acid...so when you cross them, the milk cancels out the burning acid). We split these clumps of shit up amongst the three of us and down them. The girl got one down, dry-choked and grabbed the milk. My buddy and I laugh as we're sitting there dying from the heat. Tables around us, and some of the staff have overheard whats' going on, and they're starting to come take a glance. My buddy and I sat for about 15 minutes until the burning went away and called a truce and finished the milk. No winner has yet been decided...

However...even though I may have been of the "top-2"...my stomach hurts SOOO bad this morning! I've tried downing milk and everything, and I can still taste the un-digested peppers and spices in my stomach...or maybe whats' left behind. In addition, this morning (here's the gross part...skip this if you are weak in the stomach) I went and took the most painful crap the world has ever seen. This crap was no ordinary crap...it was solid BLACK. My stomach still burns like shit, and I've got spices all through my system...

Mother of god...I hate myself for having to be a "man," and I know the worst is still yet to come...

Long drive away from home. If I go i'll more than likely have my newfuel pump/tune in and i'll want to run 12psi. 12psi on all stock/high mileage LS MIGHT not make it thru the day. :D I do have a old wrecker truck we are in the process of fixing up for this reason, so I might still run. Oh my god...I hurt...

We ended up going to wild wings cafe last night. Buddy of mine and I got to talkin' shit about eating hot foods. I told him he couldn't handle a braveheart wing (rated the hottest wing in Atlanta). He challenged me. A girl stepped in and was like "I'll do it!" Another buddy of mine was coming, and last time we went at it, I beat him, so I figured he'd be up for another. So I ordered 4 wings and waiting for my buddy to arrive.

He get theres and I hand him the wing and we go at it. After finishing it, it only took about 3 minutes before the first guy wussed out and grabbed the milk. I waited for the girl to get her milk, but she didn't bust. We sat there...sweating and dying, and the spiciness starting going away so we ordered 3 more. We chowed down and tears hit our eyes.

Spiciness started going away again, and we ordered 6 more, because this needed to end the game. I ask them to get them as hot as possible. The cook comes out from the back and personally looks us over in all of our glory and starts laughing and goes "Well...ok". He personally brings them out and sets them on the table, laughing...

The three of us look over our doom as the rest of the table is laughing their asses off. Our stomachs are already blazing because we didn't drink milk prior to the challenge (if you know anything about hot foods, you drink milk first so it coats the lining of the stomach to protect it. Also, milk is a base where as hot stuff is an acid...so when you cross them, the milk cancels out the burning acid). We split these clumps of shit up amongst the three of us and down them. The girl got one down, dry-choked and grabbed the milk. My buddy and I laugh as we're sitting there dying from the heat. Tables around us, and some of the staff have overheard whats' going on, and they're starting to come take a glance. My buddy and I sat for about 15 minutes until the burning went away and called a truce and finished the milk. No winner has yet been decided...

However...even though I may have been of the "top-2"...my stomach hurts SOOO bad this morning! I've tried downing milk and everything, and I can still taste the un-digested peppers and spices in my stomach...or maybe whats' left behind. In addition, this morning (here's the gross part...skip this if you are weak in the stomach) I went and took the most painful crap the world has ever seen. This crap was no ordinary crap...it was solid BLACK. My stomach still burns like shit, and I've got spices all through my system...

Mother of god...I hate myself for having to be a "man," and I know the worst is still yet to come...

I finally got a chance to test my car out a little bit against a worthy (or at that time I thought was a worthy :thinking: ) opponnet. A new Hyundai Tiburon V6 (i saw the little emblem as I passed LOL).

I was leaving columbus, talking to Toonz on the phone, and then a tiburon shot passed me doing the all mighty "ricer rev." So I got of the phone with Toonz and caught up with the car. He gets caught behide traffic, so I slows to about a car length or two behide him. Then when he saw an opening he guns it. {Roy Jones Jr voice} He "musta forgot" that any opening he can squeeze through, i can too. So off I go. In a matter of seconds I'm on his bumper, then I move over to the fast lane and pulls up to his driver's door. After that I let off the gas, cuz it wasnt worth it anymore. So basically, he had 1-2 car length lead, tried to squeezed through a small gap in traffic to leave me, and lost what ever lead he had in a matter of seconds. I just checked the specs and he should of dogged me (172hp---181lbs/ft). New cars these days are horrible :gay: !

we did some pulls ( i for got i was on wastegatd 8psi, i would hav turned it up)

i beat him 40 - 100

he jumped , and i caught and passed 40 - 120

BALLLIN i rly wished i would have turned boost controller on. but 8psi felt CRAZY. im happy its running great.

I need one of two things...
I've got a buddy that can hook me up with passing emissions for 20$. Problem is, I need someone else with an EF hatch that can pass emissions. Anyone got one laying around?

The second thing is does anyone have an aftermarket EF hatch exhaust system I could borrow.

We have a theory that states that maybe a 1800cc motor can't pass through a 1.5" (inside diameter) pipe because it causes too much backpressure which may be what keeps frying my cat converter. Our last go-round we passed everything but the highspeed (35mph) CO and HC... Basically, that means that with the enging revving, maybe a 1.5" pipe is condensing all the exhaust to such a confided space that it makes the emissions computer THINK that it's putting out more than neccesary exhaust instead of the same amount of exhaust being less confided througha larger pipe...

Thoughts or donations so that I can pass with one of these two methods?
