    Default 03' K24 For Sale!

Engine came out of an 03' accord automatic, engine has 105,000 miles. The timing chain tensioner has failed and will be fixed next week! Due to this the customer opted to put in a new used engine and I don't need it. Pretty reasonable on price just need to cover the cost of the new tensioner.

    Price is: $600 obo.

Then why did you start at $1000?
I take it from the pics that there is some of the harness on the engine. Is it cut?

More like 250 with the bad tensioner.
More than likely the head has a few bent valves.

there is no harness that was used on the customers replacement engine. There are no bent valves it has been checked! also if anyone bothered to read posts anymore you would have seen the price is set higher to cover the cost of the tensioner which I've already said I would replace. Why would anyone set a price higher? To make a profit! Truth is I need this out of the way.

First person to go 600 bucks, "to cover the cost of the tensioner". So i dont lose money takes it!

found one for $80.00, the engine is well worth at least $500 so $600 is more than fair. At that price I make no profit! So since there seems to be so much price bashing going on we'll call it $600 bucks bottom dollar...

    No no
Those motors to a dealership or a shop may be worth that amount
But not to a forum person.
Most those are worth are around 300 or so

I sold the last b16 I had for $1400! I realize that you and I could find a k-series for this price or less if you searched for months, or just know someone who knows someone. But seeing as your a business owner you know as well as everyone else on the planet you sell to make a profit. You can't make a profit by giving things away. The only reason I've dropped the price at all is bc I don't need it sitting around. I have another one I'm building. I even made the offer to replace the timing chain tensioner before anyone purchased it. Even at a lowered price of $600 bucks that's a fair deal.

So again as it has already been said already if you want this motor make me an offer! Instead of just arguing with me and one another about the price.

How is telling someone exactly how many miles it has on it, and exactly what is wrong with it hustling? That's actually exactly the opposite. If I wanted to hustle you I'd pressure wash it and tell you was perfect. Which would be IMO. The shittiest thing to do to someone.
